In Blevins’ mind, Khattri should have been given a suspension of six months to a year by Epic because his career ostensibly depends on Fortnite.

I mean you’re not wrong that it’s obviously been in development for a while, but the fact that they’re talking about it so openly about it now after years of silence -and ignoring/refusing to comment on articles from people like Gita - is absolutely not a coincidence.

Those story reasons being, “Oh fuck, we need something to distract people from the fact that we support a genocidal police state”

I always just thought “rocks come from the ground, if i was a bird I wouldn’t like being on the ground, so of course birds hate rocks

Giant Bomb’s coverage explicitly mentioned that Dong person as well, so I’m assuming it’s another journalist and there just isn’t a very big pool of players to draw from right now.

They just added Io (and a bunch of other heroes) today with the new patch. I don’t know specifically how they tweaked those alliances but if you look on the bottom of that screenshot it says all alliances will always be possible to complete regardless of the jail.

I get the feeling that Eriana’s Vow in particular is meant to be something you do passively, over the course of this expansion’s lifecycle. Because you’re right, the percentages are absolutely crazy and it just doesn’t make sense to actively spend time grinding it out to the exclusion of other quests.

Protip: The second chapter is widely considered a massive slog due to the amount of backtracking through drowner-infested swamps. You can buy a Red Ribbon from some of the vendors that repels them and makes things a lot less painful, I’d recommend getting it ASAP.

Highly recommend checking out the first two short story collections, The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny. They’re pretty light reading and a lot of fun, even disregarding their connection to the series!

You should just be able to select it from the Missions option on the main menu, though from what I’ve heard that will actually overwrite your save and remove any progress you’ve made since completing it the first time.

This game was absolutely made for desktop wallpapers, can’t wait.

Eh it’s not a conspiracy, Kinja is just weird like that. Luke replied to that comment, and author comments/threads are always highlighted above normal ones.

offends a portion or group of the public,

Yeah it is pretty weird. The only explanation I can think of is that Shadowkeep’s release date was already set in stone and they had a hard deadline to get all their stuff of Activision’s servers.

Not to mention that on PC they literally just migrated from Bnet to Steam. I can absolutely forgive a few server hiccups, that game’s had a crazy few days.

To compensate for the fact a less people are going to be spending money this way

Now playing

What? I think you’ve missed something, because that quote was referring to what eventually became (or will become, it’s not out yet) the RTX support for Minecraft Bedrock. This app is a completely separate thing, nothing to do with any graphics updates.

I mean, I’m not a fan of exclusives either but who’s to say EA would have even gone in on a full-fledged VR title without that deal? They’re extremely risk-averse. At this point any injection of money into VR development is a good thing.

Oh it only gets better from there, every time you unlock a new power the gameplay feels so much smoother. In one smooth motion I can fly to the back of an encounter, shotgun one of the higher-level enemies in the face, yeet their corpse into another enemy while running to cover, then mind-control another dude and pick
