Eh it’s not a conspiracy, Kinja is just weird like that. Luke replied to that comment, and author comments/threads are always highlighted above normal ones.

offends a portion or group of the public,

Yeah it is pretty weird. The only explanation I can think of is that Shadowkeep’s release date was already set in stone and they had a hard deadline to get all their stuff of Activision’s servers.

Not to mention that on PC they literally just migrated from Bnet to Steam. I can absolutely forgive a few server hiccups, that game’s had a crazy few days.

To compensate for the fact a less people are going to be spending money this way

Now playing

What? I think you’ve missed something, because that quote was referring to what eventually became (or will become, it’s not out yet) the RTX support for Minecraft Bedrock. This app is a completely separate thing, nothing to do with any graphics updates.

I mean, I’m not a fan of exclusives either but who’s to say EA would have even gone in on a full-fledged VR title without that deal? They’re extremely risk-averse. At this point any injection of money into VR development is a good thing.

Oh it only gets better from there, every time you unlock a new power the gameplay feels so much smoother. In one smooth motion I can fly to the back of an encounter, shotgun one of the higher-level enemies in the face, yeet their corpse into another enemy while running to cover, then mind-control another dude and pick

r/dota 2 is hilarious, you’ll see someone trying to put a pro/streamer on blast for “being toxic” then someone digs into OP’s story and finds out they’ve purposely thrown their last 30 games

Next step is using the Trust Factor system from CS:GO.

Fringe is criminally overlooked, that show did a lot of really great shit.

The whole game very much had an Evangelion/Nausicaa vibe, wouldn’t surprise me if the dev was a fan.

The giant corpses were one of my favorite parts of Hyper Light Drifter, I absolutely love that aesthetic. Something about it captures my imagination and makes me wonder about the lore behind the creature - was it worshiped as a god, a demon? Did it roam around for centuries, helping to shape the land I’m exploring

So to be clear, Dota Underlords is getting Underlords but not, you know, Underlord?

In the future there will only be 1 genre of videogame, sci-fi co-op MMOFPS looter shooter with mechs.

Oof, good catch!

I think you misunderstand me. I’m not scared of petty crime, I’m sure the people are lovely - I’ve heard stories from an American friend who worked outside Beijing for a while and it sounds like a beautiful place that I’d very much like to see some day.

The main event is going to be an absolute shitshow, assuming many foreigners even end up going (it was incredibly hard to get tickets, the usual business with scalpers) I can see some really bad shit going down.
