Eh, gotta disagree. I’ve been posting here since way before Kinja, back in the days when every comment was “ungreyed” and a star by your name was a special little form of kudos that could only be given by the writers (and it didn’t actually have any affect on your comment’s visibility.)

This past spring, PUBG Corp. confirmed that the cheats contained a trojan horse virus that scanned data and illegally extracted personal info.

Agreed. That photo is absolutely fucking grotesque, and anyone who intentionally breeds these sorts of dogs (pugs, bulldogs, etc.) should be subject to animal cruelty charges.

Exactly. And in that regard, I’d say Cohen is more relevant than ever.

This literally isn’t true at all, you’re either delusional or intentionally lying.

Exactly, which is why I have absolutely zero problem with Jessica Price being fired. She dismissed a very polite, well-thought out question and harassed a community member on the basis of his gender (which literally wasn’t even part of the discussion until she brought it up as an excuse for her to be an asshole)

You mean exactly like this article is doing? Nathan purposely left out the tweet where she called a very respected member of the community (and an official partner of the company she works for) a “rando asshat,” as well as where she was grossly disrespectful to several other prominent creators, and is intentionally

No, you don’t have it right at all. Do some research please.

if [tumblr/twitter/etc.] wants you fired, we’ll fire you,” she said. “Get out there and make sure the players have a good time. And make sure you smile while they hit you.”

My dude, Deroir is one of the most respected content creators in the GW2 community. He’s also an official Arenanet partner and has an NPC named after him. Definitely not “some rando asshat” - he was respectfully bringing up a legit criticism that a lot of people in the community have had with the game’s writing, and

I dunno, I wouldn’t be so sure of that. At this point there are so many choices for persistent online co-op shooters that I think Anthem is really gonna have to fight to secure an audience.

God damn. Not that it excuses any of his actions, but, like, that had to have played a role in his mental development, right?

100% agree. I understand how people who haven’t read the books/played the other games can enjoy TW3, it’s a totally fantastic game in its own right, but imo having that context for the world and characters takes it to a whole new level.

Can’t stand Fortnite’s gameplay, but holy shit are these MMO-style world events cool as hell.

being forced into nerd culture by corporations

I used to live directly across the street from this store and am not surprised in the least. Spruce Grove is one of those towns that from the outside looks like a nice little picket-fence family town, but it’s a cesspool of white trash and meth heads.

Right?! I just read that this morning, such a good take with a lot of stuff that I genuinely never even thought about before.

Aw, man, that’s a bummer. It was a pleasure reading your stuff, and I really appreciated how well-researched everything was - especially Eric, it’s rare to see a mainstream site with someone who actually knows about the Dota scene beyond the surface-level details.

These features aren’t reducing toxicity, they’re just promoting different forms of it.

That’s really cool, this isn’t really a thing here in Canada. Every graduation ceremony I’ve been to is “rent your cap and gown, pick it up 20 minutes before you walk across the stage, return it in pristine condition or lose your $80 deposit”
