@the_loxster: Better question: If the Virtual Boy couldn't kill Nintendo, why do you think the 3DS will? Keep in mind that Nintendo was in worse financial shape when the VB came out than it is now.

Just don't make them play Startropics. That would just be mean.
@thepenguin55: I think you've hit the nail on the head. I played through Zelda 2 as a little kid without any help, but it took me about 3 months. Which was fine. Back then, I got maybe three games a year: one for my birthday, two for Christmas. I had to make those last. But today, I can afford to buy games a bit more…
I thought Ugly For Ugly's Sake stopped being trendy in the late 90's, but I guess someone didn't get the memo.
@Arnheim: To be fair, focusing on sciences doesn't automatically mean ignoring composition. There's no reason why you can't do both. I'd say this is less the fault of sciences and more the fault of schools for failing to integrate writing into the curriculum.
@Vitonofrio del Rosso: Look at the price. Fifty bucks. That's what you'd pay for a new Wii game WITHOUT a controller. And less than what you'd pay for a wii remote and motionplus together.
@Codman24:
Personally, I never liked Dante's old look. It just came off as Capcom trying way too hard. This new design is more understated, and looks more like a real person. I think it's neat.
A glorified Wolfenstein 3D level pack is the best game ever? I find this questionable.
@ginazninja: While I wouldn't pick it for best game ever, it seems ridiculous to scoff at Tetris for being "just a puzzle game."
Not a day goes by that someone doesn't draw Simpson-style fanart of some character from another series...which is fine, since the style is so versatile and recognizable.
Does the title mean that the game will finally give the FFXII cast some respect?
@Almightywhacko: Yes, Halo sells better than Layton. And apples sell better than oranges.
@Almightywhacko: Man, this post just makes me sad. "Tricked into educating themselves?" You make education sound like it's some kind of credit card scam. "Oh no! I played a video game thinking I would have fun, and instead I had fun AND I know more about the Civil War now! Call the police!"
Wow. I had always figured that whoever took the GTA formula and transferred it to an MMO would end up with enough money to buy the moon. Guess not.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't stand Tim Burton Presents Johnny Depp's Ego in Wonderland.
@Foxhack: As implied in the article Atlus is probably very, very happy with the success of this title, and thus will probably be very, very careful not to do anything to tick off the fanbase.
@Bubbleman!: Yes, it's a travesty how that little red band on the box renders the game unplayable.
COMIC BOOK NERD TIME:
Happy thoughts...happy thoughts...ugh! I sure am sick of this.
