@NightWolves: Well, it's a 360 game, so it could shut down at any moment. (rimshot)

@KaneRobot: You've got to love the irony: the stereotype about rappers is that they can't speak English, yet to be able to come up with good enough rhymes to make a living off it, you have to be really, really good with the language.
Let me just take a minute to recognize Nerf Now here. Look at it, now compare it to most of the other comics on this page. Notice how it's funnier than all of the others, and also has the least dialog? And also notice that the ones which are choked with mountains of unnecessary text are about as entertaining as…
None of this changes the fact that Control Alt Delete really isn't about video games anymore, and hasn't been for some time. It's about Buckley venting his personal and family issues into a comic strip, which is fine if you're into that sort of thing but it's not video game related, and thus does not belong here.
Personally, I'm finding an inverse set of problems with male and female portrayal in games.
@biggerx: I don't hang out at bars generally (and there is more to be done at one than just "spending money") but if going to a bar and playing WoW are the only two options you have available to you, you might want to consider moving to a more interesting town.
@Bluesnow222: As games become more mainstream, they are being seen less and less as a "male activity." I think at this point, video games are considered a normal activity for everyone under 40 or so.
@anabbeynormality: Any game ssh82 personally likes is part of "the real game industry." Any game he does not like, is not.
I have the same problem with WoW that I have with The Sims games: they stop being games after a while, and become obligations. Once you find yourself planning your life around the game, once you realize you actually CARE about guild politics, once you actually utter the phrase "I can't go out tonight, I have a raid"…
@chrismoke: Ralph died a few years ago. His wife was murdered and he kind of lost it after that. But he managed to die in the most awesome way possible, as part of a clever plan to trick DC's equivalent of the devil into imprisoning himself.
Am I the only one who would be happy if Dick just stayed Batman for good?
@chrismoke: Not just zombies, but SPACE zombies. This is important.
Man, what does Capcom have against Street Fighter 3? Not one SF3 fighter so far. I'd much rather see Ibuki or Elena than Adon, myself. But these are still pretty cool.
@(Starman) Starman: "Sargent! A Nazi battalion is headed this way!"
@TVs_Frank: This is only true if you let it be true. The Gambit system can be turned off at any point in time with a single button push, and takes time and effort to set up. It does not happen automatically. In other words, if the computer is doing all the cool stuff, that's because YOU TOLD IT TO.
@ppppp: Nothing negative? You clearly haven't seen this: #sundaycomics
I'll be getting it for Christmas, until then I'll just have to make do with wishing I had it. Easily my most anticipated game of 2009 (Modern whatfare?) #newsupermariobroswii
Honestly, the only thing holding games back is time. Right now all the serious scholars are folks born in the 40's, 50's, and 60's, meaning people born too early to really "get" video games. Comics have a limited appeal because they've CHOSEN to limit their appeal; that's what happens when you only offer one genre of…
@Wuth: I was with you until you fell on your face with the old "if it's trying to make money, it isn't art" argument.
@sanyo: Mario games NEVER have strong stories. If you want a story in a Mario game, you're missing the entire point.
