I was beyond thrilled with the return of classic rock intros and it set my mood for a great episode. Adding to that was how great Padalecki played his new old self. I didn't realize until this episode just how many little things were missing from Sam's personality. That was really nice to see.

I had to find where it was said. Took 6 pages of looking, but it was Steve Ogden over at Moon Town who said, "My final gift for you is Ellie on Planet X by James Anderson. These highly stylized cartoons have a wonderful take on color. The humor is really charming, sort of a combination of Calvin and Hobbes and

I don't know what it is about it, but for some reason it reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes. I think it's the humor of the comic and sensibilities of the characters. I believe I'm in love with a comic again. (Well...along with Pearls Before Swine)

Double post, crap! Double post, crap!

Pigeon pate' anyone?

Pigeon pate' anyone?

BTW, why am I not getting paragraphs once I submit my posts? I'm *making* the paragraphs, but they're lumping together and yet I see other posts with wonderfully paragraphed structures. Someone please help an old, stupid man. (That's me, in case you're wondering...which you probably aren't)

I have to agree with the others that you make very good points and ground the idea of a singularity in reality. I was thinking about how disastrous it would be for humans to live for hundreds of years if we don't have the means to colonize other planets or somehow sustain many, many billions of lives on this one

Has anyone noticied, or mentioned, that this redesign looks A LOT like the redesign TV Squad went through many months ago, complete with auto-running video clips? If you're unfamiliar with the site, just go over to [www.tvsquad.com] and see for yourself. Before the redesign the site was shit quality-wise, but it got a

@cicadymn: Yeah, that lady with the twangy voice saying, "We've seen 'em in Mississippi" was almost too stereotypical. I bet they were all riding in a pickup truck, too.

@allenklosowski: That wasn't a bluetooth headset, it was a government mind-control device to keep him from saying too much.

I made it about 2 minutes in. Got a headache and a hankering for sushi.

@Jonas72: It's a symbolic "up yours" to the establishment, man.

So I guess Pinocchio is shit out of luck for chatting.

I've always liked this one from Blackadder: "I have a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel."

Would you upgrade a biological computer by over feeding it? And do you have to take it to the bathroom every now and then for a "download?"

What's next, zombie reality TV? I have a few ideas like "Dancing With The Zombies," "Zombies Got Talent," "The Real Zombies of Orange County," "What Not To Eat," "Gene Simmons' Zombie Jewels," "Zombies Gone Wild," "Who Wants To Be A Zombie." It's going to be total madness I tells ya!

I think the more immediate threat to our hamsters would be the feeding habits of the V.

To hell with traffic noise; just being stuck in traffic can give you a stroke. I think a have a couple of small ones a week while commuting, or as I like to call it, immensely linear parking.
