@John_Hazard: Thank you for spotlighting the snark! I would say all the negativity gets old, but it got old about 5 years ago.

@Foohy: From the clips I've seen he uses it much the same way Indiana Jones used his whip. It's used as a weapon and a means to grasp things. If it were just decoration I would find it ridiculous, but it looks pretty cool.

That is an impressively straight route for group II, especially considering they have no technology and are...turtles. Ten minutes driving down the road will prove most people can't drive in anything close to as straight a route as those turtles swim.

When the concept was announced I wasn't very interested, but the clips and previews I've seen make it look interesting.

@OutlawDominus: I'm a cross between you and your father. My father is very tall and had a quick stride so when I was a small child I had a lot of trouble keeping up with him, too. He never seemed terribly concerned that his gait was faster than humanly possible for a child to keep up without running, so I always

They were probably hit by an onslaught of fireworks left over from New Year's Eve. It was very rainy in most of Louisiana on 12/31, so lots of good ole boys had lots of fireworks left from that night. I'm sure it was a mass burn-off.

@Grey_Area: I just spent 30 minutes in a dead-stop traffic jam. I'm with you now.

And here I thought "Tomorrow When The War Began" was the "Red Dawn" remake. Silly me.

"...so the tiny trace chemicals they found in the Viking experiment were dismissed as contaminants from Earth."

@Lawdog: Thanks Lawdog. I always forget to bring the proper utensil to a seizure screening. Silly me.

I will gladly answer your question once the seizures subside.

@cljohnston108: Watching the Count on Sesame Street reflecting on his childhood in the Carpathian Mountains?

Escarglow!

@8x10: "...one ho lady!"

@Pavement clawing maniac: Excellent point. We really are getting more than 3 episodes, but I swear it feels more like a half hour when watching them. Just a sign of a great show.

@Wangenstein: I was hoping for a more traditional 6 episodes. I'm assuming the shorter series are because Moffat is both very busy with Doctor Who and the Sherlock stories are very intricate for a TV show. I could be way off-base here, but I'm taking the high road and believing that the miniscule number of episodes

@NoelVeiga: Good call. Every time there's a scene aboard the V ship with people standing around, nobody has a damned shadow. It irritates the hell out of me because it just looks sloppy and lazy.

@palinode: I'd say all of Fringe. Every single thing about that show, especially this past season, is absolutely stellar.

@Dr Emilio Lizardo: Summer Glau hawking Subway in that skirt was the best product placement ever. The skirt took a blatent product promotion and made everything wonderful.

@CuriousYellow: Ooh, I'd like to see a science list. Maybe just the coolest stories from hard science. Sure, it would be a subjective list, but it would be interesting and fun.
