@Turbo_Sexophonic: C'mon...it's got rednecks with guns and unlimited head shots. What's not to like?

@Ceropegius: Thirded. It's a show that gets better with each episode. Even better is the fact that a 3rd series has been commissioned.

@Nivenus: Well, it's got Buzz Lightyear of Star Command in it.

@alixana: According to BBC News there will be a series 2 in the fall of 2011. On the down side it will also only be 3 episodes. I can live with that if the quality is up to par with the first three. Better 3 good episodes than a dozen mediocre ones.

@Evdor: I have found that if you eat greasy/high fat foods before indulging in peppers it seems to lessen the impact a bit.

@Clutchman83: A sufficient amount of narcotics 30-60 beforehand should do the trick nicely.

@RandomThought: I guess it should be filed under the category "Common sense isn't very common any more."

@Evdor: That's been my experience. I've tried milk, but since I drink fat-free I assumed I would have better luck with whole milk. I tried that and still no luck.

@TheHacker: I used to eat scrambled eggs mixed with a little grape jelly when I was young. Mixed in the right proportions, it would make green eggs so I felt like I was having breakfast with Dr. Seuss. It's actually pretty tasty, too.

@Robotsscareme: True. They even make fun of the fact that the Doctor has trouble getting where he wants to go in this latest promo.

Think of controlling the TARDIS like eating ice cream. There's never a logical reason for it, but it's always enjoyable!

@RandomThought: I appreciate the sentiment. Usually when I open my mouth it's to make room for my foot. When you think about it, though, all I did was state the obvious. Five minutes on any genre blog and that critical attitude becomes alarmingly clear.

@monkeybusiness: The mass and size of the planet are the only factors that set the gravity on the surface. Now the orbital distance from each star would vary depending on the size and type of star said planet was orbiting. It would be very unlikely, I think, to have every planet in the same orbital distance from

As yet another fan of the original version, I was not thrilled with the announcement of an American version of Being Human. However, after reading your review I have changed my mind. This looks like it could be almost as good as the original and perhaps with time equal or surpass it in some ways.

@RevProtocol: Yeah, but it'll cost more, you'll have to wear stupid-looking glasses and you'll be asked for the glasses back when your life is over.

Serenity should be given a pass on the "All planets have Earth gravity" as it was explained in Firefly that inhabited planets were terraformed. A quote by Zoe taken from FireflyWiki, "ZOE: The border worlds — just like the central planets, they're as close to Earth-That-Was as we could make 'em: atmosphere, gravity

@Rumtum: Methinks Mylarbot® had the munchies.

The Great White Spot? Didn't Styx write a song about that?

@oli3: Since I haven't seen the show since its initial run, my speculation is they would be akin to cattle prods, only much more sadistic.
