The Tumblrer's point was that there was a shot for shot screen of the movie, but generally that means that the movie is full of references and love for the things that influenced it. Nobody gives Tarantino shit for lifting that "Bible quote" from Pulp Fiction.

Adam Savage of the Mythbusters had a great suggestion. If you disconnect the fact that the characters on screen are from a beloved cartoon, and you watch the movie in say, French, you don't have to know what's happening, and you can just appreciate how it looks. And you still get sound in the robot fights. Oh, and

Idris Elba,

Shit, I'd watch that movie.

I knew it! You were one of the doofuses on Tumblr! Even if you weren't, you could've been! What's with you people? You get an homage to a thing you love, and you take it, and you won't even look at it! You call it garbage! You're garbage.

Not really. He might seem like a goofball, but he's an "everyone is complacent so they slipped under my thumb" goofball.

I'm glad all these famous cool twitterers are calling out the malarkey those stupid twitterers were spewing. People calling it a rip-off of the Transformers movies. Blimey. What a bunch of dopes. I saw people of Tumblr saying it ripped of Evangelion. It's an homage to Evangelion! You think we'd get a live-action one?

Your break down of my fairy tale bit made little to no sense. I want to see your opinion, but it's about as clear as mud. It would be "idiotic, but also clever a bit." What does that even mean? Vivillion is pink, not purple, angular, not curvy, and has a real mouth and legs offset from the bottom, with oval arms.

In those examples on Bulbapedia, a lot of them are inconsistent, or part of the Pokedex, which is notoriously blimey. In the case of honedge, you're catching the ghost that inhabits the sword, like catching a dwebble and getting its shell, or a farfetch'd and getting its leek.

Nope. Pokemon are just animals/beings that inhabit the same world as people in the Pokemon universe. There are no other animals(discounting animators errors), so I guess you could say they're the animals of that universe. But that's putting it too simply, because there are ghosts and psychic seemingly intelligent

Fairies beat dragons because they're not fairies as in little fluttery people-butterflies, but fairies as in fairy tales, and in fairy tales dragons always lose. Butterfree rip off? Bud, I hate to break it to you, but there's been a butterfly/moth in most generations. All generations if you count Volcarona in the 5th

38. You can tell a non-car person what this neat car was.

Whoever did the cinematic deserves to do bigger, better things. That was neat.

It really seems like Dot Pixis is going to be some kind of villain, to some degree. I haven't read the manga or anything, and I'm just 12 episodes into the series (With a premium CrunchyRoll account you can be 13 episodes in). It just seems like a very Attack on Titan thing to give you a tropey "Cool-Dude"(He drinks!

Hmmmm?

No problem. I love Replay and I watch it more now that it's on YouTube and not the stupid gamestop player. They do a lot of cool stuff, everything from full game replays to test chamber where they test new games, and I like to spread the content.

The guys behind it are the editors and writers of Game Informer, and they do great stuff like this like three times a week.

This is the best Shop Contest. No contest.
