Thinking about the U.S. fish and wildlife services infiltrating Gibson is a hilarious image. However, the whole idea that owners could be fined is absolutely retarded. I know of a few luthiers and vintage shop owners that would cringe at this notion.

This looks awesome...but it still seems like another brown and grey first person shooter :-/

I'm not so sure about this trailer, Valve. I bet DotA 2 is going to be awesome, but this trailer just looks incredibly generic and pedestrian.

They should make a version with more movies to stream, to justify that price hike -_-

Pretty good trolling...it's ALMOST believable :)

I feel like if I bought this, I'd hit a wrong button and accidently nuke an entire country.

SALE of baseball bats? I'm sure that's the first thing these lunatics steal.

I just meant it's more likely for them to surprise unveil ANOTHER Left4Dead title before HL3. It's insane, really :P

The whole scenerio in London is incredibly sad. A ton of indie labels had most of their vinyl stock burned to the ground at that Sony distro center. People don't realize that small, honest, hard working artists are some of the people being hurt in this endeavor as well. The big corporations will bounce back...always.

You mean Left4Dead 3? *fixed* ;)

I don't know...Canada has given us Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, and all the Wainwrights. Valve has only given us the empty promises of the continued saga of Half Life :(

Not putting anyone else down? He just condemned the entire game industry. Backhanded compliments aplenty. Attempts at profundity are fine...declaring yourself a savior of games because you don't adhere to certain popular tastes is not okay. The man has made ONE GAME. Where are all these balls coming from? I think some

Or you read it with your head completely up yours. Guy portrays himself as a holier-than-thou jerk.

Jesus christ, this guy sounds like one of those moronic low-fi garage rock bands from Williamsburg. Telling the world how all OTHER music is garbage, but what they're doing is insanely important. Sorry Jonathan, I don't think Pitchfork Media covers video games, and it leaves you just sounding like a giant douche bag.

Ha, I'm playing with Jessica Lea later this month.

It would have to be something built from the ground up FOR that specific console. You can't port a PC RTS without losing some major, MAJOR, playability.

Why the hell would you want it on a console? It'll play like hell.

In that regard, I wouldn't want ANYONE messing with the individual tracks I recorded, just like they don't want anyone messing with the innards of their game.

I actually think this is an interesting point to delve into. Maybe they don't want D3 to be marked as a single player game. Perhaps the online services, and the benefits of battle.net simply can not be compromised? Developers dictate how we play their games all the time. What platforms, mods, and connectivity they

You're right, you can play SC2 offline in a limited fashion. Although, you still have to verify your game through battle net every 2 weeks or so (I think?)
