Uh, biggest e-sports prize pool ever? I think so. Insane!

I feel like this online thing is being blown out of proportion. You have to be online to play Starcraft 2, as well. Big deal. I'm glad Blizzard is putting it's foot down and saying "This is how we want you to experience our game, and we stand by it." Being online makes sure everyone is on the same patch, discourages…
Yeah, that was an INSANE timing from Select. Not only would charge have swung the subsequent battle in WhiteRa's favor, but it would have allowed him that time to get those double Colossus out. I was really cheering for him when he took that early Gold too. So ballsy!
Bummed WhiteRa lost that game 3 to Select. The man fought his way alllll the way through the open bracket, had to take a walk-over for being late to a match, and STILL made it to championship Sunday.
We shall see. MVP, Boxer, MMA, and DongRaeGu are al 3-0 and top in their bracket right now. Honestly, I think there are only a few North Americans that can even take a game off these guys, but I want to see a Korean upset! :)
I don't want to see any more Korean domination in the SC2 scene.
Gosh, I remember playing this game at my cousins house when I was way little. I never did actually BEAT the game. All I remember doing is dying. A lot. Like, constantly.
I failt to understand how you can be SO critical when the game isn't out for months. You're acting as if you've played through the thing already, gosh.
Thanks for your review of the game. -_-
Maybe I misspoke, playing games in the same room as friends is awesome! However, with the ease of online play, and better screen real estate over the internet...as well as adulthood, and the fact that many of us have jobs and don't really have the ability to get together and play as often as we'd like, an online…
I actually think the Wii U (for the most part) makes complete sense. It's completely different from the Wii. Tailored for all those hardcore gamers who wanted to play games with one controller, on one screen, by themselves or (hopefully) online with others.
What the fuck did I just watch?
So let me get this straight. We as readers do not deserve quality content from a "glorified blog" who's made it's name based on exactly that? If you think the "reporting" here is so sub par, you can feel free to leave. God forbid I try and be constructive.
For a while now, I've been thinking Kotaku needs a writer that covers e-sports. This kind of second-hand information from the reddit community is not what us readers deserve. Pro gaming (despite what some of you may think) IS growing. There are plenty of people that care about it, and it might actually be great for…

I don't know who this dude is, but the Starcraft 2 pro gaming scene is on the up and up, if you ask me. Just this year alone we have seen an INSANE turn out at MLG Coloumbus (both in terms of fans at the event, and a huge stream audience) a $400,000 dollar North American Starcraft league come to fruition, IGN hopping…
I've always thought that argument was stupid. I don't care what people consider art, really. I think the more important thing that was done here, was to bring the world of amazing rock and roll into video games. Frankly, most video game music sucks. Hard. I'm tired of the electronic bullshit, and I think great artists…
Uh, because they convinced The National to do an original piece for the game. That's why :)
I think I completely hated everything about it. The plot, the dicking around, the jack-of-all trades mechanics.
I hate Grand Theft Auto. All of them. So yes, it's perfectly fine.
