I think I'll have to tear myself away from Starcraft 2 for a bit to play through this one. Your review has definitely increased my excitement for this title. The last truly scary game I played through was Dead Space, and I want to be terrified again.

I don't need those worlds colliding at all.

I've always identified more with Luigi. This is good news indeed.

@nflsonic: I happily will hand the store clerk $100 for that special edition.

@Gen47: Activision is a huge corporation, but they don't have as much say when it comes to Blizzard at all. It was a merger, not a takeover. This game has been in development for 4+ years, and the beta has been going strong since February. We all know by now that Blizzard announces things when they are good and ready

@gundaman: I'm sure there will still be plenty of Protoss fan service in there. What about the story? You know Zeratul will be making an early appearance for sure!

@Oldboy26: It's not really 1/3 of a game at all. There's 50 missions or so, and a full multiplayer experience. That's more content than the original...

Just downloaded it, and it said plain and simple that the servers were down. Not surprised at all, frankly. I'll just try again tomorrow, I have all the beta goodness I need in the form of Starcraft II.

Gosh, I can not wait to get my hands on this single player experience. I am giddy with excitement!

This sandwich is made up of my nightmares.

It's a shame that the Guitar Hero franchise is being whored out to death with all these ridiculous iterations. This IP has become extremely diluted.

@The_Red: Lost Odyssey, Mirrors Edge, and Fairytale Fights are just a few of the games that use that engine. It's definitely possible to broaden your horizons (as far as aesthetics go) using UE3. It's just nice to see someone doing something akin to Borderlands (which also used UE3) and going the stylistic route.

@The_Red: I dont think the engine would have anything to do with the color palette. If you mean it's surprising because it's Epic, then I'd be inclined to agree. I have high hopes for this one.

Please, PLEASE do not screw this one up, EA.

This is really no secret anymore though, this is Apple's product and you have to provide content that they do not object to. It's not necessarily protected by the first amendment here (I don't THINK.) There's no question that the game was in bad taste and Apple is obviously reserving the right to reject Applications

Gorgeous color palette. It seems like this game will have a ton of imagination. That's something I can totally get behind.

@NeoAkira: @Nihilexistentialist: @Maybe i'm Spartacus..: Wow, I'm an idiot...I meant XP. Haha.

@NeoAkira: Because I had the SC2 beta, and I don't have a PC. Like I said, it runs at much higher settings in Win98 for some odd reason.

Sounds great, although, from what I have recently learned via Starcraft 2 beta, is that I can run my games at higher graphics settings in Windows 98 through bootcamp. I guess Leopard is too heavy on the CPU.
