In Tibetan Buddhism, any sex that’s not straight up generic sex meant for creating a new life is considered misconduct. That’s for everyone, and it’s rooted in many things, not the least of which is the idea of giving up bodily pleasure.

It’s a four year-old phone—and, incidentally, still supported by iOS 9. I don’t know many people who have working four year-old smartphones of any stripe. Honestly? My biggest problem are websites; they’re getting increasingly complex, betting that most people are using newer phones, something that’s out of Apple’s…
To me, it all depends on how often you’re upgrading. Already have a 6? There’s not really much of a point, IMO—it’s still a very fast, very useable phone, and any “new features” really aren’t enough to chuck it. Someone like me with a 4S, though? My increasingly slow phone is telling me it’s time to get a new one.
Because he wanted to, not because he had to.
Sweden is a first-world economy, and both of his parents were senior corporate executives. As tends to be the case, you can afford to take risks like these when you come from a well-to-do family.
“It’s in the Constitution” in incredibly vague and confusing language, of course. Let’s get real here: it’s the courts who have made this interpretation, and while I believe our current Supreme Court would likely uphold the current intepretation of the Second Amendment, it’s quite possible that a different incarnation…
I can’t tell you the number of “science majors” at my public state university in the late 1990s who were fundamentalist Christian creationists. I imagine it was a chore to get them to read about evolution, let alone anything gay! Their heads exploded when they had to attend a sit-down session with the campus LBGT…
People can call “Americans” whatever they want in foreign languages (it’s “Estadounidense” in Spanish—lit. “United States-ian”), but in English, it’s “American.” Deal with it.
Has he ever been evaluated psychologically? Some of this reminds me of a case of bipolar disorder I’d read about in the past (boastfully/obsessively spending money to see musicians, while crying about/ignoring practical concerns like the vet). Obviously, no one should armchair diagnose here, but I only bring it up…
Yeah...I also miss buying alcohol in grocery stores. Now I have to deal with auto inspections and a government liquor monopoly—you know, “for our own safety.”
Yes, I did miss that detail. Overall, my feeling is that you can never make someone love you; if you have to put in this much work, and it makes you feel this shitty about yourself, it’s not a healthy relationship.
Ah...I must’ve glanced over that detail...thanks for the clarification.
For the whole duration of our relationship, my girlfriend has said that she misses him, how he was the funniest, he understood her, always wanted to do things with her, is so similar to her and how the summer before we started dating with him was the best and she misses it as well.
That’s really the worst thing about Lululemon: they insist they care about you despite much evidence to the contrary.
I’ve been on both sides here, and I don’t think you should take all these comments to heart.
You might be surprised how common this attitude is amongst wealthier people.
