Be sure to watch part 2, if you've not already seen Amélie.

My friend once threw a giant, wild party at her parents house .. and while there we decided to mess with things to give her parents subtle hints that something transpired. Like, we switched the minute and hour hands on one of their clocks. ;P

I think the tone of the game fit with the reveal. Had the level blown out like it did in SS2, it would have been way too much. Bioshocks reveal was just wasn't heavy handed. It was just as effective as it needed to be... for those who did not play SS2 and saw it coming from a mile away.

I think the reveal of "would you kindly" was really mindblowing.

Now there is a game I would pay good money for an HD remake of...

Not being facetious at all, but thank you for your opinion. It makes me feel validated in my dislike of this movie which, like with The Conjuring, I seem to in the minority camp. I found it one of the least scary movies I've seen in a while with some of the most hateful characters I've ever had the displeasure of

Agreed, just watched it, what a waste of time, no idea why the big fuss tbh.

Have to agree with this. The movie excels on many technical levels but I feel it's been wrongly marketed as either horror or thriller. A creepy psychological study maybe that has aspirations above it's station, but a horror it is not. In the cinema I went to, the sense of confusion and bewilderment from everyone at

I'd rather have jackals eat my balls than not curse in an argument. You're fine, and making good points.

While I don't want to take away from anyone's excitement over the casting news, a fresher direction would've been nice. Also, anyone that doesn't believe we need diversity in our superheroes doesn't remember being

Same here. Cumberbatch is a good actor. Sure. But, give us something new! At this point Marvel is not winning on the representation front. People kept joking about Marvel making a movie about a talking raccoon before DC would make Wonder Woman...but you know Marvel also make a movie about a talking raccoon before a

i love "latin@." i am totally stealing that (i hope you don't mind). i always wrote it as latino/a. "latin@" is awesome.

Continuing with the book trend, I would offer Satan in Heinlein's Job: A comedy of justice. Our protagonist Alex runs across Satan as a Southern land owner who is just a really nice guy and God is depicted as the dick. This is actually one of the first books that I actually laughed out loud for long bouts while

There was a black Strange for a time. Brother Voodoo.

Here to post this. If anyone out there has even a passing interest in devil-in-literature then please, please pick up this book. One of my all time faves. Also, there was supposed to be a movie made of it with Daniel Craig as Lucifer (!!!!!!!!!). I saw production stills and maybe even a teaser but it disappeared

this. Totally this. It is not the worst casting news but I remember seeing a few POC fan suggestions that I thought would be amazing, can't remember any of them specifically. I'm just hoping that Black Panther actually does come out of Avengers 2, maybe staring that dude from 12 Years a Slave. And also a Black Widow
