I'm not dismissing them. I am dismissing the comments that are simply negative, not attempts at valid discussion.

But even then, even a large number of the attempts at discussion are invalid (not all of them, not even the majority, but still a large number).

Thank you for the response. I sometimes find it hard to focus purely on the positive, but you're right. I have seen an increase in positive and informed responses over the past few months.

If possible, I'd love it if you could pass on my thanks to all the Kotaku writers for writing on such subjects and being willing to

There's photographs floating around of shops in Canada and Italy that have started selling them early.

I have no idea why people get put back in the grey.

I'm certain some people are put back by the staff, or mods, or something, but I wouldn't be surprised if others are there due to a fault with Kinja or something.

As you say, it seems a bit random.

As far as I'm aware, that's how it's done. I could be wrong though.

I guess another issue with it is that it also depends on the person judging. One person's quality comment is another person's trash.

Still, at least we've had less of the "I agree with Tommy! I never realised I could easily make $50k a year just by

Recommendations and comments.

It's supposed to be a way of filtering out the asinine comments (though it's mostly ineffective) by making it so that only comments (and commenters) that people deem worthy of being viewed will get out of the grey.

Enough comments out of the grey, and you'll be permanently out of it.

EDIT:

I

How do you guys feel about (or cope with) the massive amount of negative comments this site gets whenever an article about feminism, women in the industry, women in games, or minority representation is posted?

Because, I'll be honest, the large wave of negative comments (that are rarely attempts at actual discussion)

Undoubtedly.

But I remember when HL2 came out, a lot of people were dissappointed at the lack of promised abilities (such as the device that could be used to weld items together to make barricades), the lack of epic strider fights, etc.

That disappointment dissipated quite quickly when people started to take it as it

How so?

I've been saying the same (and likely plenty of other people have also been saying it).

If/When the game finally comes out, it'll likely be quite a good game...possibly even a GOTY candidate...but it still won't live up to expectations.

People have hyped it too much. They're expecting it to be ground breaking.

I mean,

The only horror film to have ever truly scared me was the original black & white version of The Haunting (not the crappy remake from the late 90s/early 2000s).

I was quite young when I watched it, admittedly, so it doesn't have the same effect now...but it is still a brilliant film. It's more of a psychological horror

Frickin' love this one.

To the point where I put it on the jukebox at the pub today (alongside Konichiwa Bitches, that I think was at the end of RIPD?).

I've played for over 60 hours now, and only heard this while another car on the road was playing it.

How long has the SCP Foundation stuff been going? I just want to check, because there's an old TV miniseries from 2006 called The Lost Room that is similar to the SCP stuff.

If it's older than SCP, then it's proof positive that stuff like this isn't neccessarily copying the SCP stuff.

If not...then I'll keep my mouth

I backed both times. The first time because I was genuinely wanting to get the final product, the second time because I just wanted to see what would happen (and if it got funding, I might get the game).

However, after everything, I'm just baffled why they never took the approach of completing the first episode of the

Well that sucks. Hopefully 500GB will be enough for me then.

>> You can attach an external hard-drive for additional storage <<

Does this include any type of external hard drive, or am I limited in type and size? I'd be tempted to grab another Terrabyte external hard drive if it'll accept any type...

I had heard that the streets names were named after locations, but I haven't spent enough time on RDR to notice any geographical similarities.

It doesn't surprise me though if they are meant to be the same area. It would make sense for all of R*'s HD games to be set in the same universe like all their previous gen
