This is where my mind goes whenever I hear of Goodnight Moon.
I knew it before, apparently I loved it as a kid, but still...I watched The Simpson's so much that it just stuck with me forever...

What were the 10 games?
Nah, Stretch is a new character.
OG Loc would be about 40 or 50ish by this point if he were to appear (similar to how CJ would be in his 40s), plus he's got his album on Franklin's bedroom floor, likely meaning that OG Loc is living the life somewhere better than the area Franklin is in.
Franklin refers to Stretch as…
OG Loc Vinyl on Franklin's floor, and there's a Madd Dogg poster on his wall.
EDIT:
Someone caught them on camera. Description notes that they aren't *actually* CJ & crew, but still...
There is a very small reference to Jon Marston. On Michaels' bookshelf, there's a book written by a J. Marston.
Also, there's a load of CDs and posters in Franklin's first room of characters from San Andreas I think.
I can't help but think that they might be, at the very least, trying to say that the HD universe does…
Awesome.
I caught his 9 hour run of GTA3, but was way too tired at 2 hours in to Vice City to see him complete it.
Good for him though, I couldn't do 30 hours of straight gaming...
I'm fairly certain it was, and a fair few people aroundabout the interwebs are also saying it...
I'm a fan of all the references to previous games (either characters or locations).
I spotted a fair few, but would love to know what others people have found.
*MILD SPOILERS*
- In a conversations between Trevor, Michael, Franklin and a random crew member about their first ever "job" Michael mentions that his was on the…
Does anybody know how well he did?
I got 2 hours in to his Vice City stream before having to go to sleep, he was already nearly at 25% at that point...
My major problem with most of the responses is that they all seem to equate clunky controls with survival horror.
Like, they can't seem to fathom that a survival horror game could still exist and be good while also having decent controls.
They also seem to fail to realise that the vast majority of survival horror games…
The only GTA I've 100% completed was GTA3, and that took me 3 years (on and off).
Every other game I've done the storyline and some extra stuff, but couldn't push too much further because of a lack of interest.
GTA5, however, I'm currently nearing 80% and plan on attempting 100% over the next few days, hopefully before…
Around the time when you decide to poison people, or kill people, just to earn them a bit more money.
My bad, I misread what you said about Chris. I thought you'd said that the Evil Within character looked to be a Redfield clone :p
As for TLoU, you keep putting words in my mouth. I'm not saying anything about the atmosphere here, I'm talking about how the game mechanics forced a survival situation upon the player…
>>Admittedly I am going off of a 12 minute video here, it may be different when I actually get my hands on it, but the character looked to be a very sluggish one and the aiming looked to be very off<<
I swear, all the people responding to me aren't actually bothering to read what I write.
In the original RE games,…
Why is it that everybody here seems to think that non-clunky controls + better aiming = action shooter?
Please, read through the rest of my responses.
To me, clunky controls & slow aiming aren't atmosphere...they're clunky controls and slow aiming.
Atmosphere is built up with the environment, the equipment, the enemies, the storyline, the characters, etc.
If you give me a quicker aim, but take away a lot of the ammunition, then the atmosphere and tension is built up…
Please, point out to me where I say I want an action game?
Please, point out to me how The Evil Within differs from RE4? (The game in the series, created by Shinji Mikami, that actually *started* the trend toward Action Horror instead of Survival Horror)
Then please feel free to read through the rest of my responses to…
>>Did you just say The Last of Us actually succeeds at scaring you?<<
Nope. I really didn't. Go ahead and read through what I said again to check if you like.
The Last of Us, and Manhunt, are good survival games (and it could be argued that Manhunt was a Survival Horror), and they have a very good balance of using the…
Ah. Problem with text is that it's hard to convey things like sarcasm effectively.
When RE4 came out, everybody praised the controls for not being tanky anymore.
Thing is, the controls were exactly the same as the original set of games, just the camera angle changed.
The characters still controlled like tanks, but they weren't sluggish.
The aiming and weapon useage was still the same as the previous…
