Quad-view bit where? Which "bit" from what source?
There are already modding tools for the original. Look them up!
Not really that much of an extra cost, the technology in the things cost pennies to upgrade to a larger size - at least on an industrial scale. That's including the act of manufacture and the actual buying of storage stock.
It's not working in 99% of Wii players? How the hell can you derp a pulse meter of all things.
I do, and it's basically an advancement of that tech - not too much of an advancement though, as Panasonic were showing off that was one of the possible usages for 3D TVs (i.e. people watching two different things in 2D on the same TV) a couple years ago.
For all we know, that's all the new Playstation TV shows. I can't find anything anywhere that states it shows 3D to both parties or its refresh rate. Feel free to find the stuff for me to prove it though!
Yes, they do, but Netflix and Hulu are giant companies that will earn back the fees that Microsoft charge them. CCP is nowhere near the size of either and simply wont be able to shoulder it. That and, again, CCP needs the system to be running on their own servers, which is something Microsoft do not like in the…
You are aware that the Carbon tech (As in the engine that the APEX and PHYSX portions are built into) is for the EVE Online and World of Darkness MMOs right? And is scalable?
No, it'll most likely have microtransactions - but CCP need to run it through their servers, which is based off a subscription model that isn't Microsoft. Bare in mind that a subscription doesn't always equal paid subscription.
They run through MS' servers for the LIVE getup, and pay a lot of fees.
Such as? =/
No announcement of a PC version, MS screwed over their work on the 360 version... chances are that yes, it will stay a PS3 exclusive until they move it to the next console gen.
Firstly you assume that the Wii counts when it comes to the console market any more (that or you are incredibly misinformed about the imbalance between 360s and PS3s sold).
It was never a 360 exclusive, and while a 360 version was on the cards, it is widely assumed Microsoft put their foot down over CCP's subscription model - Microsoft have never liked another subscription service on their console when Live is around.
If you can convince Microsoft to remove their outrages licensing fees and ignore their hate for subscription models that are not their Live service then you will get your multiplatform release.
Actually it was set up to handle EVE in China, and then put onto the Dust project, which is yes being focused on in China, but is receiving a lot of development outside of there currently/recently. I should have been more clear, sorry for my tired typing.
You may wish to look at the original announcement conferences then, as they said a few times there that there is no PC version on the cards.
CCP stated during a couple press conferences that there will not be a PC version.
Most of us long standing players are looking forward to it, we just wish they'd fix a couple other things first.
