It’s a bummer the game didn’t fund, I put in for a copy as soon as I read about it because it just seemed like something I hadn’t seen done before.

“It also means that Discovery, shunted off to a streaming service that few people seem to want, has a lot to prove.”

I loved this experimental era of Square, and while Parasite Eve didn’t really strike my fancy, I love to go back to the oddball games like Einhänder or Brave Fencer Musashi.

Rumors abound that the “true” intent of Monopoly was not to create a fun gaming experience, but to provide warning about the dangers of greed and how it can often bring out the worst human tendencies, such as violence, rage, etc.

- Potential spoiler ahead if you never played L.A. Noire -

Sounds similar to the early Suikoden games, so I’m interested.

And then Adam Jensen and Solid Snake show up ... !

I’ll also be playing The Long Dark. Having play tens if not hundreds of hours before episodes 1 and 2 came out, it’s taking me a while to get through the story mode because I cannot shake the habits picked up from Interloper sandbox mode. Must scrounge through every building, must gather all sticks, must use

I’ve been a big fan of the 84 key / 75% keyboards ever since I first used one (a KeyCool 84, I tried a friends and eventually got one of my own). It never made sense to me why the F1-F12 keys were split out in groups of 4 on their own. Probably traces back to some programming thing, but imo larger keyboards just make

According to the Ministry of Truth, there was (of course) never a tree there to begin with.

Now playing

Pretty sure the old (daytime) Plinko record was $30,100, set in 2007. Seen here:

Holy shit ... ... ... actual instruction manuals!

This is a bummer, but perhaps not unexpected. I live in hope that this could mean an official remaster is in the works, or at least being thought of. They did good work with the Grim Fandango remaster... wonder how that turned out for them overall, commercially or otherwise? I know I picked up a copy and had fun with

“Star Fox Zero doesn’t benefit from its delay.”

RE: Trillion, the basic conceit of the game (the cute waifus are gonna die) made me dig in deep and learn how to break the game mechanics and keep ahead of the difficulty curve. It took I think 40 some hours for one play through, but I kept my first pick alive. After that I shelved it and never played again = P

The “majority” of voters actually didn’t want this. Hillary won the popular vote - you know, the one that counts the number of people who voted for which candidate and sees which number is bigger? That is, the majority of voters. Trump won the electoral college vote though, and that’s what counts for the Presidency.

The Long Dark is 40% off or ~$12 before tax.

One of the biggest “feels good” changes in Legion is that quest mobs / objectives can be tagged by multiple people who aren’t grouped together. That coupled with the new world quest system (various quests objectives pop up on the main map at random and you can choose which ones to go do based on the reward, etc.) give
