“Since Paper Mario: Sticker Star, it’s no longer possible to modify Mario characters or to create original characters that touch on the Mario universe,” Kensuke Tanabe, a developer on the Mario franchise since 1988's Super Mario Bros. 2, told VGC in an interview published yesteday.

It sounds like they banned him for his weird comments but they didn’t warn him first so now they’re being taken to court because of that? But Beahm still thinks it’s not because of his weird streams, so then... maybe he thinks Twitch is trying to come up with an excuse to get rid of him and he really believes it’s not

I thought he was fired for making anti-Semitic comments?

Paper Mario: The Origami King doesn’t back down from its anti-RPG stance...

It’s considered strange? Anything about it in particular stands out as strange?

Probably not. And they’ll probably be voiced by an anglo.

Haha, does Pascal start gunning down some pirates in the winning image?

A game doesn’t have to be for “everyone.” The best things in life aren’t for “everyone.” The most profitable things might be. The problem is that “everyone” likes the streamlined stuff, which is boring. That doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with the stuff that ISN’T for everyone. That’s a logical fallacy.

Zelda 1 doesn’t have to be a “go anywhere, anytime” game for me to compare it to Breath of the Wild, which also wasn’t a “go anywhere, anytime” game. Progress is gated in Zelda 1. It’s also gated in Breath of the Wild as tool acquisition is definitely necessary. But both are relatively nonlinear in the franchise. So

Well, it’s not really a “different kind”. It’s just returning the franchise to its very nonlinear roots. The problem is that to fill out all the space in such a massive sandbox, they had to take the 8 or so dungeons a typical Zelda game might have, chip them up into smaller bits, and spread them out. I’d be okay with

Now playing

That York character reminds me of someone...

I’m going to have to disagree with you partially with that last comment.

The thing is... all the positives I’ve seen with the Switch I’ve seen with previous Nintendo consoles... only with fewer positives overall and more negatives. Like, what the hell are they thinking putting gambling in children’s games? That’s some evil corporate EA BS there. It doesn’t matter if they’re pulling back on

eShop turning into Steam. Mobile games selling gambling to children. Three-year-old releases of Wii U games still being sold at $50. Joycon drift. Security breach affecting 300,000 users and Nintendo not being entirely upfront about it.
Plus, there’s all the typical Nintendo BS that people have been complaining about

Those are all videos of Florida people.

Are the game-breaking codes still in it?

What's next? Leprechauns only being played by Leprechauns? Warwick Davis should be ashamed?

Dark elves aren’t allowed to be represented on TV?

?????
