The underrated part of this video is that the two cops strangling and punching the victim have no clue what else to do with him, while the third cop comes strolling up and just puts handcuffs on him LIKE THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

I read that he’s tweeted over 17,400 times and used the word “fuck” three times before last night’s rant, if that’s any indication of how extraordinary this was. Good on you, Jim.
“Send the current president money so that he can stop ‘endless wars’ that he already has the power to stop” is a hell of a message
I was interested in this for my outdoor TV (where I pretty much only watch sports), but SIXTY DOLLARS A MONTH, HOLY CRAP NO. That’s ridiculous.
A former state Senator, former governor, and current United States Secretary of Agriculture with a net worth of at least $6M in 2006 complaining that someone else is “privileged” is...something.
He constantly shits on Democrats and American culture while living in Malaysia and has never even been to the US. Truly amazing that people give him any attention.
Exactly. His LinkedIn page for his company said there are 2 employees.
The irony of yelling “go back to your country” when he fucking immigrated to the US from England in 2010 is really incredible.
This directive works in so many layers for Stephen Miller’s America. Get rid of foreigners (especially educated ones) or expose them to the virus, and undercut a huge revenue stream from those “liberal brainwashing” universities that Republicans hate so much in the hopes that many will have to shut down.
My 4-year-old son did this when we were waiting outside of Target recently. “DADDY THAT MAN DOESN’T HAVE A MASK ON!” The guy just sheepishly grinned and walked away quickly. My kid is becoming a mask cop and I love it.
Holy hell...boxes here, boxes there, boxes big, boxes small, boxes left, boxes right. There has to be like six different font sizes going on too. How hard is it to just have a list of stories in order of publish date, so I don’t have to hunt around 400 boxes on a screen to find a story I haven’t seen before?
I know, that headline made me think he’ll be hung on a Zoom call!
My wife is an ICU doc and is absolutely convinced that these tests have an ENORMOUS rate of false negatives. She’s had so many patients and friends that have the exact classic symptoms and vitals but are turning up negative. Some still die, and they don’t get counted in the stats then.
Imagine thinking that people getting $24k a year will be like “hey we’re rich! nothing to ever worry about again! no need to work ever again because 24 friggin thousand a year is enough to satisfy all of my needs and desires!”
2k X 246 million is 492 BILLION, not million. But you also have to not include kids, which is about 22.4% according to the Googles.
I just got a raise recently where I make slightly over $100k and if this proposal would go through it could definitely make for some weird salary negotiations where you would make more money with LESS salary at your job. I don’t want a $5k raise at work if it means I’ll be giving up $24k in UBI!
While I agree that I hope they receive the most painful, long-lasting deaths from this, unfortunately we know they will also spread the disease to plenty of us normal people who just need to get some groceries or medicine or go to work.
I’m having trouble finding the “logic” in comparing banning a luxury vacation and a basic necessity to millions. Substituting one word for another doesn’t automatically make those sentences true. The 2nd paragraph and the last paragraph make no sense, they conveniently left out all the sections on the terrible…
Attempting to compare cruises to public transportation is one of the most absurd galaxy-brained things I’ve ever seen.
That’s the part of this plan that I don’t understand. Like, ok China would look incompetent or evil or whatever, but how does that in any way change what the response to it has been from America?
