That sucks, but glad he got the attention he needed and is on the road to recovery. Will be glad to see his articles again sometime, but for now, focus on healing, Fahey!

The 2nd is a remake of an infamous opening video from a Japanese PS2 game:

A bit off topic, but when I saw this Labo review, my first thought was, as a toy guy, Fahey would be doing the review. Then I realized we haven’t had any Fahey articles in a while - even his Twitter has gone silent for the past month when prior it was getting multiple posts a day.

Yeah, Houseki no Kuni was an amazing show. Probably the best CG anime I’ve ever seen, and I don’t even want to do it a disservice by saying it was good as a CG anime, no, it was good as an anime period. I was only listing shows from last Winter though.

Random articles after the 5.0 update and Reddit posts. This video mentions a source (a Google doc where someone thoroughly tested the USB ports on the Switch), but never provided a direct link. So it’s possible I’m passing on misinformation.

Honest question - if the Switch itself implements USB just fine (by the way, I heard it implements USB C correctly, but not USB-PD (power delivery)), why is it capable of asking for enough power to fry itself?

Is it actually the fault of the Nyko dock though? I don’t think I’ve ever had issues with Nyko’s devices before, and I keep hearing the Switch is the device not USB power compliant. I’ve heard nothing regarding any sort of design flaw on the Nyko dock (other than the bricking of Switches, but that involves 2 devices:

Latest updates to the Switch? I haven’t heard anything about that? You have a source?

So is it fastened to the original case in some way beyond screws? Or tough to pull the port out because the board fits snugly?

The cynic in me also feels this might be why the Switch doesn’t properly implement USB, which is why there’s been so much trouble with 3rd party devices. I bought the Nyko dock for its form factor, but now I’m too afraid to use it (especially since last I knew, they have no fix for the widespread issues after the

Is it true? The Legends of Localization site was specifically looking at this difference, so it makes sense that 100% of the Japanese shots are talking about her weight, since it was the point of the article. I don’t know how many other characters were around

As a fat person myself, I didn’t see the problem. I would read it as the Zora Queen being vain. And the Zora guards want the problem solved because the Queen wants the problem solved, and she’s the queen, so you do what she says (even if one of the guards thinks she looks better in her unaltered form)

I’ve been enjoying Marchen Madchen, despite some animation quality issues throughout its run. I was hoping the 2 week break would help. Somehow it ended up even worse. Haven’t seen episode 10 yet, but hoping that episode 9 was a low spot

Pssst.... Spice and Wolf was designed to sell light novels

It had that hilarious attempt at seduction in episode 2 though

This was hands down my top show of the season. Even better, I wasn’t even expecting it - I had Yorimoi marked down as a maybe, because all it had going for itself was “cute girls doing cute things, only in Antarctica”. So I gave the first episode a try, and was blown away - characters were remarkably fleshed out,

Also, they have a really catchy song about them

Yeah, seeing the character he looked oddly familiar - beyond being a parody of Cloud. If that actually tells me the ending of the RPG World storyline, I’ll definitely need to check it out

Still feeling hurt from when Archie dropped the Mega Man license. I loved it, and you can’t even get the last several issues in compilation books.
