Master of Puppets was a perfect track for that (and for Vecna, really.)

The Kate Bush sequence was great, but to me it’s all about Eddie jamming on “Master of Puppets” to distract the monsters. That’s one of my favorite things I’ve seen in any show or movie in a long time.
When Steve plays Vecna’s ribs like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones
Eddie with the one-man rock concert in the Upside Down was a top 5 moment for the entire series for me. That. Shit. HIT!!!
Max’s story was the highlight of the season. It was much more poignant than I expected it to be. Just because it isn’t happy doesn’t make it ugly.
So no. You cannot even write a single paragraph as to why axie infinity is fun.
I grant your points and will leave with this:
Its not the chip shortage. It’s the bots and the idiots who pay above retail who keep them going.
I thought it was pretty clear that it’s not really a generalized niceness or kindness that motivated Sersi, but rather the fact she cares about humanity.
I liked Eternals quite a bit. Despite Dowd’s review saying it’s just another MCU movie, it felt somewhat different. The scale and scope, and what it means for an immortal to live a life over thousands of years, weren’t really the kinds of things MCU movies spend much time thinking about. And for a two and a half hour…
I genuinely enjoyed Eternals, and think most of the criticisms against it are just regular old (yet perfectly valid!) criticisms against the MCU at large. Still, my A-List tickets this past week also included The French Dispatch and Last Night in Soho, both of which were better movies.
I hope Disney is backing a dump truck full of cash up to Joshua Jackson’s house right now.
You are still entitled to say anything you want to say. Nobody on the left has ever told you that you can’t say or talk about something.
As an actual comedian, we talk about punching up vs down *all the time.* The only comedians who DON’T care about that discussion are unrepetant assholes.
I know there were already some genre-benders on the list, but I was surprised that Happy Death Day wasn’t included on the list - I can see how you would have had to pick either that or Final Girls, though.
Andre Baugher for Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
The title of Barely Lethal is really stupid but the movie actually is not. Hailee Steinfeld and Sophie Turner as her mean girl assassin nemesis were both basically perfect
Hailee Steinfeld was really fun as a highly trained assassin going undercover as a normal high school girl in Barely Lethal, which convinced me she can pull off Hawkeye
Earlier this year I played Control, which I loved, which made me go back and play Quantum Break, which I also think was pretty great.
I don’t care how many people I piss off with this hot take, I’m gonna do it:
