Heroclix is a bit different that what it sounds like you're describing. Each figure has a dial that turns, but the individual clicks are basically HP or clicks of life. Each click of life has stats for attributes like movement, attack, defense, damage, and range, as well as an array of powers. Each piece also has a

Offspring was one of my favorite bands for a long time. Still enjoy 'em quite a bit from time to time. :D Very fitting song too.

If this means there will be a Dead Space 4, that's all I care about. I'm about halfway through DS3 now, and absolutely loving it. I don't get the hate AT ALL (EA business practices aside). It's a great game (unless it seriously goes downhill at the end). I enjoyed Resident Evil 6 for what it was, and think the

My local Pizza Hut is pretty awesome compared to yours it seems. Usually arrives perfectly cooked, hot, on time, and the only time there was a problem was when the driver's GPS led them to the side alley behind my street instead of my street. Got a call, told him where to go, and he was there in a minute.

I've had it for a long time now, but it's always somewhere in the middle of the huge pile of unplayed games I have. I suppose it's time to move it closer to the top.

That was actually kind of awesome. Makes me want to finally get around to playing God of War 3.

I'm not a Star Wars fan by any means, but I thought the lens-flare-y lightsaber stuff was pretty cool looking.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I've been playing Resident Evil games (I've played all of the main ones aside from Code Veronica) for 15 years. I think people really overrate the "horror" of the earlier games. The scariest thing about those games is the controls. Sure there's a number of jump scares (those

Here's a funny story. Background: I'm a Pittsburgher, Steeler fan, etc. It's well known here that there are Steeler fans all over the place, and friends and family that have relocated report on Steeler bars wherever they end up.

If you had the choice between a tiny-ass screen and a big, beautiful (in my case 40") TV, why would you subject your eyes to the tiny screen? I always got a bit of a headache after playing games on my PSP after a while, so I put it away and forgot I even had it for like 3 years. I don't have anything against

You do realize that software and hardware do not exist independently of each other right? Software interacts with hardware to make programs/games/etc run correctly. A software issue is not always exclusive from a hardware issue.

I don't understand why it has to be an "us vs. them" thing anyway. I prefer consoles, for many reasons. But I don't begrudge PC gamers their preference. Interestingly enough, one of my favorite games of all time is a PC game. I just don't get why it's such a divisive and contentious thing.

It's more that console gaming is wonderfully predictable. You pop in a disc, load it right up, get directly to playing. No chance of display drivers being out of date, no program randomly eating up all of your RAM, no unforeseen conflicts between devices, no funky compatibility issues with input devices (I had a

You're just being obtuse.

Is God your PC dealer?

Nowhere did I say that I have trouble often. I've had issues in the past that were frustrating and turned me off of PC gaming, that doesn't mean I've had constant problems every day all day. If these magical millions of people never have problems, then every PC game in existence wouldn't need have technical support

What have I said, precisely, that gives an indication that I don't know what I'm doing, pray tell?

I've had multiple PCs and laptops over, say, the past 15 years, some with the fairly high-end specs. There's always something that eventually sours the experience. Consoles have only let me down once, and that was a red-ring on my first 360.

I had long response written up to a previous comment related to this, but decided not to post it.

I agree with the OP.
