I regularly recommend that people, if they’ve never bought any platinum, put down like 20 bucks as a sort of “thank you” for the developers, paying a box price essentially. I’ve certainly gotten a ton more value out of the $20 I put down on Warframe than the $100+ I spent on Destiny and it’s DLC before I quit.

Same here - I haven’t gone back much since release, but I did play the heck out of it when it was a “broken” solitary experience. I hope the multi player mode is optional. I play games to escape, not socialize...

Self checkout is the greatest invention in retail. I don’t have to deal with people, I can bag my groceries in ways that make sense to me, and it is way faster. You can take my self checkout when you pry it from my cold dead hands.

Counter-point: Self-checkout (when properly configured and working) is the best.
