The “losing $350k per vehicle” line is a bullshit spin by the media to get clicks. It’s based on total money spent - not just money spent directly on building cars

Any car with 5% tint on front windows and 35% on the windshield - except in the extremely rare case of legitimate medical reasons

No.

280hp is low for a 3.3L I6-t, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If the rumors are correct that it’s the same engine with a smaller turbo then it should make tons of low end torque and feel more powerful than it is. Actual power is likely over 300 but understated to help drive sales of the more expensive models

Our city has a set rate for anything up to SIX 35 gallon bags or TWO 96 gallon carts, which seems like an absurd amount of trash to me. We usually just have one 12 gallon bag or even nothing at all because we don’t typically fill a 12 gallon bag in a week

They needed this guy in a focus group

We sold my wife’s SC2 15 years ago with similar miles for $1000. The car was in good condition with no issues and it still felt like we were ripping someone off. This thing should be $500 at best

They need to extend it to motorcycles

$35k for windows?

500 kilowatts of power or 536 horsepower

My experience with run flats has been awful

Each team developing its own car is a major factor. IndyCar is almost always closer largely because it’s a spec series - they all use the exact same chassis and aero kit and choose from only two engines. There are far fewer factors contributing to performance spread

The battery is 1.9kWh so yes, it’s itty bitty

The hybrid system is clearly focused on performance over economy. I think I saw 16/22 or 16/23 published somewhere. Compared to the standard C8 that’s slightly better in the city but worse on the highway due to the extra weight and wider body

The Max is newer and uses more efficient LEAP-1B engines. You’re good

That’s a long way from high volume mass production by automotive standards. I work for a premium tier-1 automotive supplier. We have multiple lines each producing 2-4 finished parts per minute and we’re still low volume by automotive standards

2024 Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 - Final Edition” is a stupid name, but don’t blame Stellantis for that

This is the kind of thing I would impulse buy but then every time I use it I just end up thinking about all the many things I would rather have for $7700

That’s... not really how it works
