As a developer, this is a well-understood situation, and easily resolved.

I saw $4500 and literally gagged. This used car market is sooo far out of whack. This has been a $500-800 car if its running for 25 years, and was destined for scrap yard if it didn’t run.  I bought and sold one similar to this in the early 90's for around $1000 but was in much better condition.

That’s a high performance cooling mod, brah

Neighbor got a cool grand for an SX4 with important engine parts sticking out of a new hole in the block.

In this market theres no such thing as a $500 car. If it runs it’s at least  2 grand.

this $500 car is not worth $4500. what the hell is wrong with you?

So you want F1 cars to be slower so their tires don’t get cold behind the safety car?

Wow, maybe if F1 didn’t spend so much time chasing its car and track design into a corner this wouldn’t be a problem. Stop designing the tracks for large high downforce cars. Stop designing ever larger ever higher downforce cars for those tracks.

Until it’s not and contaminates a huge area, costs hundreds of billion of dollars to clean up, and lingers on for decades if not hundreds of years.  Other then that, it’s perfectly safe.

If definitely is. Until a disaster strikes.

Which is basically the same for all other sources of energy.

This form of energy is certainly cleaner than the alternatives, but without adequate planning and protections, the potential for disaster is enormous.

At the this point I mostly torrent shit I already own or have watched enough times on whatever service to single-handedly change its popularity metrics. Occasionally I might want to check out something not readily available on a streaming thing but I am not sure I want to pay for. Otherwise I pay for shit.

Oh no, multi billion dollar corporations might not make even more money.  /s

I feel like torrenting a sandler movie is still paying far more than it’s worth.

“Shut up, Meg!”

However, at the end of the day, people still want to see free TV shows and movies.

As a developer, it is not that difficult to deal with time at all. The problem is when developers want to save a byte here or there or make assumptions about the lifespan of the product and don’t grant enough memory to deal with changes (two number years in mainframe programs, for example).

Stuff like this is why you really want ota updates in your car.

I’m stuck in Covid Standard Time. Today is Wednesday, March 675th, 2020.

My buddy has an ex-wife that’s a loose nut.  The indicators were a little different.
