Can confirm. Moving every client off Windows 7 took over 3 years. Every so often I still find an XP box tucked away somewhere that no one remembers.  Had to support Win 98 running a cnc cutter once... From an old laptop. Have two working spares stashed away now just in case.

I work in IT this is typical. IT will submit a request to move to a new software because license is expiring or end of life. accounting wont approve and then the day finally comes when that software is gone and NOW we get yelled at for “letting” this happen

One of my clients is a car dealer network with 26 Ford and Mazda stores throughout New England and Northern California. If one of the internet reps for any of our stores pulled this stunt, he or she would be fired in an instant.

I was just watching the original episodes with my kids the other day and that “countries of the world” song just blew my mind. I don’t think I appreciated how excellent it was when I was a kid, but damn that thing was a work of art.
