I love this fantasy you have where libertarians are rich assholes when usually only half of that is correct.

You are not angry or pompous enough in your comments, fyi

Wasn't referring to the game's quality, was only referring to whether or not it's some kind of huge omission from the list. If barely anybody played it, then it's not really that important how hard it was.

I can't tell what's sadder, the truth or the lie.

There really was a Dragon's Lair for the NES, but who the hell cares about an NES game that came out in 1990 and which nobody played?

Someone told me the other day that they "think" they beat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when they were a kid. Motherfucker don't lie to me YOU WOULD REMEMBER THAT IF IT HAD HAPPENED.

Back in 2011, Polish prime minister Donald Tusk gave U.S. president Barack Obama a copy of The Witcher 2, because it's pretty much the best thing Poland has ever done.

Assist goes to the lady in the seat behind him. If you slow it down you can see her go through all 5 stages of grief.

And that's my point, if they're in trouble enough that they're going to have to either raise support for a new game or let staff go, why should we begrudge them for using whatever means possible to try and do that? If this were a Kickstarter that said, "We got laid off from Harmonix and we want to make an

So Stephenson blowing in Lebron's ear, clotheslining Norris Cole, slapping Lebron in the face... that's all just a media creation? Even if you're right that this particular claim about what Bird said to Stephenson is wrong (by the way, you should try actually providing evidence of your claim, rather than repeating

As I mention above, companies use evidence of public support to sell games to publishers all the time. They also will get investors to pledge money to help fund the project as a way to convince others (like publishers) to commit to their product. Kickstarter lets someone like Harmonix attempt to do both of these

This isn't as rational of an argument as it seems on the surface. They are making other games right now. Those other games are getting Harmonix's (or really, the publisher's) money because they're the priority. Harmonix were just asking people to vote with their money to prove that the game would be popular enough

EW! Girls! Gross!

too soon

Wait what does it stand for again? I drifted off ;)

A few months ago I put in a projector and a 120" screen in my den and for some reason 3D in that context is absolutely amazing but the same movies I saw in 3D in the theaters (Pacific Rim, Hobbit/Hobbit 2, etc) were basically worthless on that front.

Nope, to the dismay of about 2/3rds of our showing's audience, who waited through 5000 lines of VFX crew credits to see nothing. I was hoping at some point the credits would break and we'd see a scene where Nick Fury convinces Godzilla to join SHIELD, but no such luck.

The 3D was ridiculously underwhelming, I had actually forgotten about it entirely until I read your comment.

That is a problem in this movie, but there are plenty of monster scenes involving the MOTU throughout the first hour, along with some of the most gorgeous cinematography I've ever seen.
