Some context for those not from the Toronto area:

The blue, front lit gauges from an XC90 R-Design. Easy on the eyes - feels really fancy.

My BR-Z... Had it for 8 months.

Those that own them, Porsche

I am positive this new CR-V will continue the tradition of being mind-numbing to drive.

All four seats fold to make a giant bed (take the headrests off the front).

Up here in the Great White North you can get one with ~75K Miles, accident free for $8500 CAD (~$6500 USD)

Honda Element - will run forever, back seat has more legroom than any car I’ve ever seen (though it’s a pain to get into when in a parking lot with cars on either side due to backwards opening doors), inside is plastic - super easy to clean out and did I mention it runs forever?

I have long believed that the Bentley Continental GT is the Toyota Camry of Luxury/Super Cars. They’re so common (relatively speaking) that you don’t even notice them anymore as they drive by.

The Honda Ruckus.

There must be something wrong with me - I just went looking online for a used E39 540 after reading this.

The 993 Gt2 looks so ‘90s yet still looks great today

I ride long (I do ironbutt rides yearly) and I’ve ridden far. Counting for fueling and rest he must have been doing close to 140km/h constantly to achieve that time which is punishing for ~40 hours

If there was ever a winter beater I would tolerate being stuck on the side of the road broken down in, it’s this. Look at those seats!

It’s still a fancy looking beater - would be comfy to sit in waiting for the tow truck!

If it gets you home I’d call it reliable.

If it’s a nice warm day out and your car breaks down, it’s annoying. If it’s freezing when your car breaks down it can be life threatening.

About 253 Kelvin....

The engine’s going to last for ever, as will the transmission (as long as it’s not a transmission on a V6 from ‘99-01) but the rest of the car will disintegrate if you are in a place that salts heavily.

Shouldn’t winter beater actually be reliable though? And Safe?
