Capitalism rewards risk-taking, you guys. That’s why CEO’s can devalue and embarrass their company their sheer corruption and incompetence, get bought out and still expect a $300 million bonus check for being fired.

Also your lack of understanding of cryptocurrency is pretty embarrassing and will not age well.

“Shit game because it’s not on Switch.”

Some caveats: The ranking is based on cumulative hours played across the playerbase, not on total number of players. (According to Ryan, PS5 players clocked a cumulative 4.6 billion hours.)

And this is why Sony approach is better. While some M.2 drive do cost more now than the console itself, eventually there will be deal or price drop from different brand that will make it more affordable. While Microsoft drive will probably stay at a fixed price.

We do have to remember that Sony did try that tactic with

I really think Genshin is a game that should be played in your spare time. Most of the hardcore group play everyday and spend money regularly.

This pretty much where I sit. The game is really enjoyable and could very well be played without dropping a dime on it. Their constant updates to the game are pretty amazing and will keep you busy for a LONG time. I have been playing it since day 1 and really haven’t stopped.

The two to five degree C change they saw between the consoles is not even close to being a factor to durability over three years. Much less for “warping”. That’s much less variance than you get on your room temperature on any given day. You’re being ridiculous.

So it is like a strung out sports car - this can work for a long time, but there’s a certain uncertainty to it.

You are worried about a data point that is untestable for 3 years. Thats not a good faith argument.

Imo, promising a $10 dollar universal upgrade option for future cross platform titles is a very reasonable compromise.

The issue before was this:

1) Tom wants a PS5 but can’t buy one because of market shortages
2) Tom will eventually buy a PS5 when he is able, but still wants to play games coming out
3) Tom buys Horizon:

Can this guy just go away already?  I mean no Disrespect.  Literally.

Hey! Wait! I filed a dumb complaint.”

Fully agree. Most PS5 games are smaller than their PS4 versions too... sometimes by quite a bit. We also don’t need to replace our entire drive like we did for PS3/PS4. This is on a whole, much better than those too (MS is still easier, yes). It’s also not new information, we’ve known this since before the console

Fun fun. I also tried to watch Cities a few years ago but only made it a few eps in. I really dig that Haim Saban / Shuki Levy music, and have the English and French albums in my library.

Same, but I don’t recall watching it. I have more concrete memories of Mysterious Cities of Gold, though I also barely watched that. I peeped at a random ep on YT where Spartakus tells about his childhood, and we see his entire family killed by some villains. He’s then enslaved as a gladiator for years. ‘80s kids

I just fell down a hazy-memory YT hole thanks to your Spartakus mention.

The problem is that most of us see crypto in all forms for the shady shit it is.

Except the only person saying Sony is flexing is Kotaku and you guys are eating up. There is no drama here or unhanded insults. All Hulst means is that they acquire studios that have a history with PlayStation brand. So far only Kotaku has got into this clickbait headline nonsense with this announcement.
