I’m sorry, in what world are two barely different models of PlayStation 5 an econobox and a sports car?

You say this as if both ‘wear and tear’ and increasingly demanding games are somehow unique to the PlayStation 5. You also say this as if the differences between both models weren’t subsequently demonstrated to be a near total wash.
You mean to tell me that a combination of click-hungry journalists, agenda toting YouTubers, and angry fanboys were spreading FUD about the PlayStation 5?!?
At the end of the day, if you’re simply seeking a solid if slightly overlong action-RPG about flawed people looking to sand down their rough edges, Tales of Ariseis exactly that. Just know that it comes with some rough edges of its own.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this more of a half win for Epic?
What continues to boggle my mind is that Rockstar can’t even be bothered to assign a handful of the thousands of staff in its employ to the task of remastering other titles in its back catalog. I mean, that’s about as close to found money as one gets in this industry. Or to use a drop of that endless flow of GTA…
You couldn’t reliably find a Wii in stores until the late summer/early fall of 2008. Nearly two years after launch. (This is basically where the PlayStation 5 is at supply-wise. With the understanding that chip shortages could push it fully into two to two years+ territory.)
I’d also add, knowing how gamers and journalists and the industry all work, watch everyone absolutely lose their tits over this policy for months on end only for it to wind up applying to, like, four games.
Yeah, it was a minor but nonetheless glaring and obnoxious bug.
I could see Kaito being made the lead of his own series - so a spinoff of a spinoff. But unless Yagami either either dies, “dies”, or “moves to America” at the end of Lost Judgment, losing even the smallest cameo from him in any future installment would just be bizarre. Judgment is his series in every sense. Full…
I think it just speaks to why, when push comes to shove, most of us prefer bigger budget titles to indies. Ultimately, polish matters in video games in way that it doesn’t necessarily in, say, music or comic books. Or even film to an extent.
I mean, if these are the three ‘mystery remakes/remasters’ that came to light from Take Two’s recent investor (or whatever) report…then just…fuck…be more boring, why don’t you?
While not terribly effective, this remains my favorite villain team-up to this day. Starscream’s ghost and Unicron’s head being a close second.
I can actually one hundred percent relate to how Britney’s feeling right now.
Most people don’t need to upgrade their PlayStation 5 hard drives, either. Not that I disagree that the current SSD isn’t woefully small, and I definitely plan to upgrade mine at some point. Regardless, I’ve still managed to fit anywhere from twenty to thirty games at a time on my PlayStation 5, depending on what I’m…
*Correction before the pedantic nerds descend on my mistake as if that’s the salient issue: New 3DS XL and two screws.
While it’s great that Sony is finally letting PS5 users upgrade their console’s storage, the company’s messaging has been confusing.
Non-proprietary...only specific drives work...need to pop open the system to make the switch...
Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the back button attachment predate Scuf’s patent? I thought that’s why the tech was kind of an evolutionary dead-end on Sony’s part.
