@Len Bias Cocaine Surplus: The courses are open at that time of year? In Minnesota they shut that shit down for months.

@FIFA-Thespian-Federation: Jesus my eyes bled from that. I'm a Vikings fan, so I'm praying for the earth to open up and both teams to fall into the yawning maw of hell.

@Tulos_Mullet: Ok cool, but how do most guys learn to play it? Lessons? Buddies? Rich dad teaching you while using $100 bills to light his cigar?

@AzureTexan: I played sports in high school, although I was more of a basketball/football guy instead of baseball. The hand-eye coordination thing makes me wonder though...

Golf DUAN,

@ursa: oh, and I forgot to mention this before, but don't be surprised if they take forever to determine the instructor for a fall course. Intro level classes are last on a department's priority list to fill, and can change too.

@ursa: Is it at a 2 or 4 year school? And I'm guessing you'd be an adjunct?

@Steve U: Ah shit, didn't see this before I commented. My bad.

Dusenberry originally wanted to send Daulerio a 3-panel cartoon that satirized Favre's behavior while slyly comparing it to Obama's Middle East policy, but thought better of it and used email instead.

Meanwhile, King Louis XVI wishes he could have been just an average Royal.

@dont-forget-where-you-came-from-cheese mac: And it's nice of you to not leave them out to dry. Best of luck in figuring out your future endeavors; given the job market for attorneys I'm guessing it won't take long for them to find a replacement. Just remember to burn your computer when you leave so they won't know

@Gary Oakland Athletics: Fuck, now I know I'm rusty...please tell my drug and stress-addled brain what that means? Sorry.

@OnTheTwelfthNightOfLloydChrist...: Rodgers doesn't need to worry about there being 2 Americas.

@ursa: Yeah, I feel like a semi-expert in queer rhetoric. Not sure if that will ever be necessary for me to know later in life, but it is stuck in my head regardless.

@dont-forget-where-you-came-from-cheese mac: Any site, even screened ones like Deadspin, can sometimes fall into a herd mentality. It's the same reason why not funny people will beat a meme to death in an attempt to get promoted. Then again, was he starting a flame war and encouraging it? If that's the case I have

@looney82: my brother was USMC infantry, served in Iraq. I admire him every day for what he did, but no way would I do that after experiencing that as a family member.

@looney82: Exactly. Every guy in my extended family loved the military -all Navy or Marines - until they settled down and/or had kids, then hated being away for so long and couldn't engage in the usual fuckery and got out (only a couple made a full career of it).
