These are only physical sales though. Digital is getting huge now, and it’s something Microsoft were pushing for from the very start of this console generation (something no-one understood and assumed was just DRM). Personally, myself and all of my friends bought our consoles digitally, and that’s 100% of the people I

Thank you. I try my best. I am like the little engine that could. Someday I will grow up to be the biggest, bestest troll I can be.

Honestly, I kinda assumed his comment was a satire of trolling based on his name and how it was written.

Let me guess... they found the secret to what makes undertale fans such huge dicks? Trololol....

I respect your opinion but... ahh you know what, fuck your opinion, Kojima is great.

"You're." If you're going be a dick, at least look like a smart dick.

You’re*

Of course! Pirates are like modern day Robin Hoods! They are stealing recreational items, not out of a petty desire for free games they have no entitlement to just because they REALLY want them, but for justice!

You can’t choose a side and then claim the counterpoints are invalid for lack of data. Both sides would be invalidated for lack of data. And since there don’t seem to be any generally accepted numbers, the whole argument is relegated to anecdotal points.

“There’s nothing wrong with stealing from those who make their profits from the exploitation of labour.”

I don’t enjoy this. I pay for my games, and prefer them to have as little DRM as possible. This whole “Piracy is a scourge” just supports more drm, which hurts the consumer but rarely the pirate.

There is so many piracy apologists out there its not even funny.

“As the traditional demographic for video games is fairly young, students etc., it seems like sound logic to think that there are quiet a lot people who don’t have the amount of money for spending than people who are maybe a bit older”

So someone not paying for something instead of paying for something makes no economic difference in the end....yea, that’s the case. Keep telling yourself that or you might start to feel bad when you you’re stealing someone else’s product.

I enjoy this digital arms race. Piracy is a scourge on the economy of video games.

Undertale fans are like Stephen Universe fans. I know the thing they are championing is probably really good and something I would enjoy, but they are so obnoxious that I can’t bring myself to checking out the thing they go on and on about.

That’s an odd name. I’d have called them chazwazzas.

Well for those of us who don’t go to reddit, I’m glad they repost this stuff here.

The individuals may not be the ones to blame, and they should not be subjected to the ire of fans, however the very nature of social media is fans being able to say what they want to. It’s the nature of the beast and I can all but guarantee that the actual workers are not taking it personally.
