That was my thought. Her story was (excellently) completed at the end of Fury Road, and now Max has to move along and get sucked into some other group’s problems.

The only character that carries over between Mad Max movies is Max. Furiosa’s story was told, telling more of it would probably just stretch the material too thin and be shitty.
