Film Crit Hulk has a very good essay on Black Panther and why it’s a great film.

THE ENDLESS was brilliant. It deserves to be on everyone’s 10-best list.
This is a good list.
Games not from 2018 that I most enjoyed playing, because older games need love too:
The basement crawler was absolutely terrifying. Perhaps not Hereditary or Pet Sematary terrifying, but as those are the two scariest films of all time, it’s in good company. I think Mike Flanagan has done an excellent and elegant job doing exactly what horror has to do to get under your skin: smart, sympathetic…
@Kumagoro and @dirtside for the win! Calling it now. Both of those are
-very- on point.
I can literally only tolerate “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” as it plays in the background of the opening cut scene of Saints Row IV, in which you ride a nuclear missile while defusing it and parachute down into the White House. Which sounds exactly like a game Jake would love.
God, I love this crazy website and its commenters. And God, do I miss the old commenting system. Blarg.
Oh wow. FLASHBACKS.
YOU ATE MATHMAN, YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU MURDERED HIM! FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO CORRECTLY DETECT PRIME NUMBERS! OR ANY OTHER NUMBER OF MINOR MATH MISCALCULATIONS! HOW ARE YOU NOT IN PRISON?! #SquareOneForever
Nope. I clearly remember that scene occurring in this episode. Reggie teams up with Price, and then somehow, the bad guys move the sewers. Using the Mandala effect.
Granted the Decemberists have an astronomically high bar to beat, this just sounds lame, and shows how crucial Lin-Manuel Miranda’s music is to Hamilton. Here’s hoping the other collaborators did a better job.
I know the actress playing Landry. She’s a big fan of Star Trek (and an awesome person) and would have loved to do more episodes.
Okay, this comment traveled through time a year and a half, but Advancing Age is spectacular. Thank you!
Bored to Death should’ve been a show I loved, but I bounced after 4 episodes. Its music and opening are brilliant, though:
Yes! True Blood was the first serialized show I gave up (season 3, episode 4), but god damn does it have a good theme.
Guys, I’ve been trying to recommend a lot of posts, and every time I do, the number of recommends goes DOWN by one. (Murray Chang’s post had 55 likes. NOW IT HAS 54 THANKS TO ME I AM AWFUL.) I am trapped in a miniature Black Mirror. I swear to God I like most of the posts here. WHAT IS HAPPENING?
AHHHHHHHH I love Square One so much this comment exchange fills me with delight. “Mathman, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to reply to every *seventh* comment. But beware the DIABOLICAL Mr. Glitch! He will eat you...if you are wrong.”
I’m enjoying these reviews, Emily!
But damn, Kinja and its awfulness have destroyed both this comments section (WHERE DID THE COMMENTS GO) and one’s ability to read reviews in order (one clicks on “Season 3" and the reviews for ep 11 and ep 13 are missing—one has to click on your name to get the full list.)
KINJAAAAAAAA…
No, Mother, it's just the Northern Lights!
YOU GUYS WE COULD DO THIS ENTIRE EPISODE RIGHT HERE IN THE COMMENTS.
No.
