I've got to say that I'm kind of shocked that he took the plea bargain. I understand why the Prosecution would have wanted it but it seems to me that such a deluded narcissist would have loved a trial.

A lot of people think it isn't morally wrong to rape women, especially when they're not virgins. We see this every day. This is an extreme case, obviously, but the "well I know it's technically ILLEGAL and everything, but it's not really WRONG" mindset is prevalent.
