Nice. Didn't know someone was working on that.

I'd love to see someone make a new Bridge Commander. I didn't love the first one, but I thought the idea had potential and I'm sure there's an audience for it.

I loved the Legacy of Kain series (except the camera, which was terrible in all but the first, but worth putting up with for the story). I still don't want a new one. I thought LoK: Defiance wrapped things up really well and considering how often developers ruin old games by re-envisioning them, I don't really want

I haven't even played the game and this is still one of the most memorable title screens for me.

Nice. That looks great. Thanks for the link.

Yeah. It's certainly not ideal, but it seems like a step forward. Who knows? Maybe someone will rig an Oculus Rift with a wireless transmitter and set up a trio of Kinects to detect body movement. Then you'll have your freedom.

I watched a video of some guy playing with all those TF2 configurations (Sorry. Can't remember the link) and at least one or two of them looked like they worked well. It seemed he got comfortable with them pretty quickly and I imagine that with more time and practice it could be at least as easy to use as a

I agree. The action, locations and "collectables" were all really well-done. I loved how most of the collectables were actually things to blow up, instead of just going to an area and picking up some random thing. Also, I wish more open-world games had climbing in them. I love getting onto rooftops.

I kinda like the idea (It makes those chunks of text "pop" a bit), but they don't really fit with the color scheme of the rest of the site. At all. Like someone else said, it looks like some sort of colorful Microsoft thing when it should look like a Kotaku thing.

I have to agree. Hollywood seems to (usually) ruin everything it touches. Even when it doesn't, I think it's pretty safe to say Hollywood never makes things better than they were originally. People like Miyazaki are better off avoiding it.

I'm not sure I've seen any remakes (with HD art or a switch to 3D graphics) that look as good as the originals. It's like teams that do remakes never understand what people liked about the original games. The strip out all the charm, life and character and leave you with a game that might play well but doesn't feel as

I thought we already knew this? I saw a digital "box cover" for the remake recently. I guess it wasn't officially announced yet, though.

Yeah, the screenshot's big and everything but I can't help wondering about what it shows.

Except the STALKER (I don't use the periods either) ones have cool-looking suits to go with them. This guy just looks goofy to me, running around with an exoskeleton over his normal skin/clothes.

Not really. Trine simplified the idea a lot by letting all your characters move as one. It's a lot trickier when you have to get three different people through a level (and all of them alive). Also, I think Trine (at least the first one—haven't played the second) was more combat-focused than the Lost Vikings games.

Yeah. I've played some games with God Mode in the past, just so that I could explore without caring about the enemies. Sometimes I do just want to play through a story and enjoy exploring an amazing environment. It's made me wish, on a few occasions, that games just had a "no enemies" mode because large amounts of

My point was that there still seems to be some pretty amazing stuff that you can experience with an Oculus Rift, if you feel inclined. I'm sorry if my earlier statement sounded insulting or something.

Personally, I care a lot more about the head-tracking than the stereo display.

35 times bigger than The Witcher 2? Great...

Yeah, I was worried about that, but I find that I actually don't mind this voice much. It's not the same, but it's actually not horrible (in my opinion). I'm still far more concerned about other changes they've made or seem to be making.
