Yep. The old tagline used be, in part, "What's yours can be mine", but I guess they wanted something shorter and more aggressive this time.

Yep. But remember the trailer for the original game? lol. It's pure action, even though the game is nothing like that. At least this trailer didn't go that far.
Interesting. I played the games back when they were newish, and I started playing Thief 2 again recently. I feel like, while there are certain aspects that haven't aged well, it's still one of the best games I've ever played.
If you look at Skellagirl's deviantArt gallery, there's a newer shot that includes facial hair.
You know, I was about to correct you (because the world in the earlier games did have electricity), but it actually looks like this one doesn't...so far. That's kinda interesting. I wonder if they've toned down the mechanical/electrical steam-punk aspect of the game.
Remember when Battlefield and Call of Duty were different games? I kinda liked having Battlefield to go to for multiplayer-like singleplayer, while CoD was more scripted. Now they're both linear, scripted, crazy-exploding-action-movie games?
Probably. They certainly don't look like teeth.
My guess would be that it's both easier to develop (making better graphics doesn't take as much imagination) and easier to sell to the millions who will buy a game based on its flashy graphics. It's too bad. Imagine the games we could have if all this effort was spent on improving AI and coming up with new ways to…
I think one big problem with the eyes, apart from the shininess being slightly off, was just that human beings rarely stare straight ahead for more than a couple of seconds. Our eyes are always shifting slightly in different directions, whereas this guy just stares blankly into space.
Yeah, I hated the sequences with mutants, but the rest of the game was worth dealing with those annoying parts. I actually can't think of a game where I really enjoyed fighting the non-humanoid enemies. The humanoid ones always seem to be more intelligent, and more fun.
You know, he reminded me of Doug, but then I reconsidered thinking that nobody remembered that show anymore. Never thought I'd see Quail Man cosplay. Nice.
Nice. I really liked that a lot of the tasks in the second game had to do with investigating things instead of just killing some number of creatures.
Freedom of movement would be great. The doors were a bit weird, but I found ladders and cliffs incredibly annoying. There were a few times where I went to open a chest and accidentally started climbing a nearby ladder. I had to watch Geralt go all the way up it, and then climb all the way back down because there was…
For anyone interested in more info, this site has quite a bit: http://gamingeverything.com/42090/thief-tons-of-details-from-game-informer/
The first two are generally considered to be better than the third, gameplay-wise, so I'd start with those. The story in the third, though, was one of my favourite game storylines ever, so it's worth playing as well. As far as I know, there are no remakes of any of the games, but someone did make a Doom 3 mod based on…
Dueling will never be perfect until we have a decent way to stop the player's arm movement in its tracks. If there's no resistance, what you do in real life will never match up to the character. The "best" way around it seems to be not to include enemies that have lightsabers. No dueling, just saber fodder. If you…
Those games had some of my favourite game music of all time. My favourite by far was, and is, Tubelectric's theme.
Looks like it could be the cover of an upcoming AC comic that was just turned into a poster.
Well, in the movie the aliens did rush head-on quite a bit. That was only because there were so many available for cannon fodder, and the ones coming from the front (getting slaughtered by auto-turrets) were just there to distract from the ones that were flanking the people. From what I've heard, this game is missing…
Yep. I guess they spent all their money on the facial mocap.
