I just about choked on a piece of lettuce. A tip of the hat to you, MadPiglet!

I'll admit it. I laughed.
You totally just summed up how I feel. My ass, too, looks amazing in a pair of tight jeans. And I'm fine with my cellulite, stretch marks, jiggly thighs when I'm at the beach or by the pool. It is what it is. I'm 31 and don't have the (too) skinny body that I had when I was 19 (and so glad for that). And super short…
Wait. Which Degrassi are you talking about? Because there would be NO SHAME in being on the original.
Nope, I'm cool with Muppets, Sesame Street, all that. It's just an animation thing. I think because with Muppets, there is an actual interaction between the Muppet and the person. I find animation difficult because there's often a visible disconnect when a person is trying to interact with something that isn't there.…
Although I don't really understand why I feel so strongly about her, I have to say that it positively thrills me to see here looking so great. Those boys are adorable and I really hope that she is truly happy and fulfilled. She's certainly come a long way from the 5150 days.
I was at 7-11 the other day and saw one of these magazines with the Duchess on the cover, exclaiming to have the "delivery room drama" and something about Wills being yanked from her side and I thought "Oh, she had the baby?" and then realized that, no, I do not live under a rock, so she could not possibly have had…
I was starting to wonder if I was the only one! I very much enjoy The Newsroom and actually find it well written and intellectual enough to be stimulating. I hate watch True Blood and Dexter. For me, The Newsroom is a show I can sit down and just enjoy the characters and the story. Similar to how I feel about Mad Men.…
Oh I wholeheartedly agree. I would never go down of my own accord, but went to the chucks last year with a friend who had infield tickets and my company is going down today. It's far too expensive for my taste plus I'm getting too hold and senile to handle the crowds and the heat (or rain or snow...). When I was young…
I started a business degree, changed my major to English (to do something I enjoyed for my undergrad) and now have a very successful career in business and am working on my accounting designation. Switching direction may not be easy, but it's not unusual and can be very fulfilling.
English major here. Followed the dollar signs down an entirely different career path.
Thank you. When I read that I was all "Holy shit, $6000 a month?!?!?!" until I read your comment and realized I make more than that. Which resulted in a whole new "holy shit" moment. BUT I sure didn't make that when I was a college kid.
Food bank, so still good. There's quite a few flood relief efforts being tied in with the Stampede this year which makes it a bit easier to watch the show go on, in my opinion.
Thank you for this. I shall have her lovely blog bookmarked forever.
You are definitely not alone.
I'm meant to be down there tomorrow and was just reading Avenue's list of best midway foods. That shit just gets weirder every year. Deep fried butter? Why???? What sounds most impressive to me this year is the $1.00 salad from Hidden Valley, donating proceeds to something or other. I'll skip the deep fried butter.…
Me, too. That dress is absolutely fantastic on her!
I think you can be! I, too, fail to see any resemblance aside from the lips if I only look closely at the smirk.
