ME2 is the meat of the series, and really fixed the super annoying issues (gameplay wise) that ME1 had. Also from a story standpoint, has the most important ME3 affecting choices- ME1 had big choices that affected Shepards story, but the big choices in 2 are galaxy affecting choices.
They couldn't forsee the possibility of making a GOOD Simpsons game in general.

I was in covert fanatic mode about this game. But I just realized PS3 exclusive.
The real question is the cost of servers - amount of revenue generated by app.
To play the game you have to use their servers, but that goes for any non-apple app. Servers are hella expensive and Apple sure as shit not gonna comp that.
The 17 Project managers and development directors on this project are in meetings now discussing the possibility of eventually expediting the request for additional bandwidth after they have meetings on the meeting to request additional bandwidth.

It is easier to create a game today than ever before. There are free tools you can use to quickly prototype and release a cool new game idea within a matter of weeks. Because of this, there are a ton of shitty games out there that no one will play.

Notice how nothing moves? Static objects instanced with Voxels works for demos on a fractal-like scene, but try having dynamic lighting or animated objects with weighting. That would require all of those "atoms" to update their colour/position/state constantly rather than just their visibility checked based on camera…
