Games related, yes... thats the point.

Not much for artists anyways, unless you're flash/illustrator/etc. 3D modelling is not necessary in the space yet. And I personally think more and more talent across all levels are abandoning the stigma of social-mobile-casual games, especially since the big studios in Vaneasy have been imploding.

Thankfully a ton of smaller companies are growing like mad in Vancouver, mainly in the casual/social/mobile space. It seems that for every large studio that goes down, 3 small ones come up doing interesting/innovative things by talented and passionate developers.

Replaced with "giant cannons go boom" and "Im on a boat".

I hate link-posting like this, but please help the first official "gamer bar" become a reality! It's the first fully licensed bar built by gamers, for gamers. It's being crowdfunded so please help kick start this awesome project:

The Relays makes sentient life grow in predictable ways. The citadel/relays control the Reapers to extinctify the galaxy in order to solve chaos. But there is a big why? What created the Citadel and why is it preoccupied with sentient life?

The only problem I had was that the ending should have explained what Citadel/Relays actually were, their creation story and explanation. If the relays were meant for population control and the Citadel was the trigger for the population control, who/what made Citadel and the relays in the first place?

Interesting lesson on the concept of evil:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGHGHGHGHGHGH... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I did not realize that they have pretty consistently released a major product every year.

Whoever did Admiral Hackett was noticeably awesome.

There is no protection. In fact you could build the game of your dreams, release it, have some acclaim and traction, and see 6 weeks later Zynga roll out with the same game and take over the world. You won't be able to a thing about it.

Better question: Why is Android considered a second tier marketplace, when it has a larger market share of iOS?

There are no "ideas" persons in any studio. Anywhere. The closest thing is a game design, and after 3 years of game designing, I can tell you learning to program is the only way to actually make ideas a reality.

This. @arcdemon88 - ideas are easy, making ideas a reality is very difficult.

Learning to program is more important. Much more. Schools teaching game development is a lesson in wasted time and money.

I have a great idea for a game. Please give me a million dollars.

Oh they are, every impression of every ad counts towards their CPM. By visiting the site you contribute to their revenue. Additionally, by commenting and driving discussion you directly influence users who will actually click-through on ads that will make Gawker Media cash money. This is why having a F2P model (most

This is more like BFBC:Nam expansion.
