@Cursa: Soon the world will revolve around China. It already is. They're the ones that shot down the Copenhagen deal. [www.guardian.co.uk]

Shoot Leno into space already. Everyone likes Conan, more than Leno anyways. Hes the best out of the 3 (Leno, Conan, Fallon) and should be given time to own the Tonight Show and put his mark on it.
Mike Tyson terrifies the shit out of me. He looks like hes always barely controlling his unfathomable rage. And it takes everything in him to not destroy everything in his wake.
@jjohns17006: The saying is never judge a book by its cover. Thats about books. Not video games.
Yaaaaay no more Spider-man. Horrible collection of movies, and Im glad its dead now.
Wow. Way to fuck up your North American launch Sony. And here I was thinking you had changed.
Don't think Army of Two 2 or C&C4 is going to reach expectations, and its anybodies guess how profitable Playfish is going to be. The Old Republic and Mass Effect 2 are going to make money, and Bad Company 2 should reach expectations with some good marketing.
@anduin1: I actually really enjoyed the planes in 1943. They required skill to use but the controls were intuitive enough to actually fly them. With the jets in BF2 I'd be one of the many people who would lose control 15 seconds in and crash into a random part of the map.
Thank God they put mobile AA in the game. If someone knew how to use a helicopter in BC1 the game would be pretty much over, they were just way too hard to kill. Im glad they've added vehicles to balance it out.
@lilnate: Used to live in Ontario. Same region(ish). And all I can say is: LOL! GG NOOB! WESTCOAST STYLE TIL WE DIE.
@rathorial: perks, customized classes, killstreaks- Innovative for COD4. Copied, rinsed, and recycled for MW2. The only new thing there added for MW2 is deathstreaks, and I wonder how hard the designer had to fight to keep that in there.
I miss snow. All it does in Vancouver is rain. Hell the grass is still green. QQ
@.glib: Sounds like the classic industry joke, too bad its getting old. Word is the Housers are insane, and the Rockstar atmosphere was the macho-male attitude turned up to 11. At least the naive will learn trial by fire, hope they don't burn out before they realize they've seen the worst the industry has to offer.
I know Rockstar in general has a reputation for this kind of thing. But things have been improving industry-wide. Will wait for more information before turning the Caps Lock on.
@Setzer IIDX: No shenanigans. Reviewers bought into the hype of MW2 and gave it 10/10. That means any shooter released from now on cant be any better, because the reviewers believed MW2 was the second coming of jesus.
@LeonX84: You've been behind the times. EA has been having a change of heart, now theyre focusing on the games they make, not the money they get. EA has been trying to win the hearts and minds of the population by releasing good games, and is willing to extend release dates to ensure the games they release are top…
@AnonUserAnonymous: Bad Company 1 was good, but was missing a lot of polish and just wasn't as genre-defining as Modern Warfare (1).
The bottom line is this: DICE made a shooter that drives the genre forward and tries to innovate on something that was already successful. Infinity Ward made a shooter that made a lot of money, and really who cares about innovation when everyone in the studio gets a complimentry boat?
First of all, the guy playing was a total noob. Not looking in the direction of enemy combatants, not going to the corners to defend the flag, blindly shooting rockets (which I thought were supposed to auto-aim on traced armour?)
@nago: What you seem to be leading into is what the consequences of letting someone live/die in a game. How does the game respond to you being a merciless killer or a humanitarian. Most games that have built-in morality usually end up rewarding you being as bad as hitler, or as good as mother teresa.
