I don’t think it’s so much what they want but what they need.

I mean does nobody realize that the movie is supposed to be goofy and remind us of the 90s? I played the n64 game after having played the gamecube game and was sad to find out it was basically a not as good version of the gamecube game. Of course it makes sense having come out first, but it was very very similar.

I never understood why Sega had such a great game in the DreamCast sonic games and scrapped it’s system to rebuild a glitchy non working system that they kept using after that.
