I don’t think it’s so much what they want but what they need.

I mean does nobody realize that the movie is supposed to be goofy and remind us of the 90s? I mean if that isn’t your thing and you are going to hate it because you don’t like goofy movies and you weren’t born yet in the 90s so you have no idea what it’s like then ok but that doesn’t mean the movie is messed up.
Blues fans love the team (and at times hate the team) but have stuck with them loyally for a long time. Many hope each year to win the cup but also understand they might not live long enough to see it happen. If the Blues can take this series it will mean so much more than any non-Blues fan can understand. This city…
I played the n64 game after having played the gamecube game and was sad to find out it was basically a not as good version of the gamecube game. Of course it makes sense having come out first, but it was very very similar.
This will sound weird but I’m honest when I say this. I don’t notice uncanny valley till someone tells me it’s there. Now that you say it I understand much better people’s reactions. To me it’s fake, I know it’s fake, so there is no uncanny valley where it’s real enough for people to freak out. To me it’s as fake as…
I’m not saying having preconceived notions are bad, as you say it’s impossible not to have. I’m saying that disliking something because it’s not what we imagined it to be is bad. I also was a bit shocked with how sonic looked but I didn’t immediately decide the movie sucks.
This is a good opinion.
It seems that now a days people get a mental image of what something (like this movie) should be before it exists. Then when it’s shown and if it’s not exactly what people pictured it to be like they hate it. What about this trailer looks unobjectively bad? Even if it’s objectively why do you hate it? Is it just…
I’ve known and seen so many people that like something and decide they want their career to be making that thing. Liking something and liking making it are very different. I know many people who love video games and wanted to make video games for a living, but then when it came to doing what it takes to make video…
The problem is when I lose I don’t lose $100. I have an addictive personality and keep going back to the ATM when I lose. The few times I try to up my wagers seems to be the times I lose also. I’m just afraid of losing it all because I know the odds of winning (always in the houses favor) and even if I win 3/4 of the…
Casinos are full of 99.999% people who don’t understand that the games are all based on numbers and have a best way to be played. I’m ALWAYS the youngest person I see in the casino (at 33) and always play with the best odds and always get told I’m not going to win money that way. I mean I don’t always win money but a…
I never understood why Sega had such a great game in the DreamCast sonic games and scrapped it’s system to rebuild a glitchy non working system that they kept using after that.
It might be worth it to win the stanley cup, but i mean at least save it for the semi finals.
The thing that was even more noteworthy to me was after cross checking someone in the face he without any help falls on top of him like he’s doing a Hulk Hogan elbow drop, then as Chara tries to pull him off keeps falling on the same dude several times.
I play some games for the story, I play some games for the experience and gameplay. If it’s for the story it doesn’t mean it has to be easy but I also may not mind it. If it’s for gameplay I’ll often get bored of a game that is too easy. However I don’t care if there is an easy mode that I don’t have to select.
At this point I kinda just want all these ridiculous laws to go into place and watch the chaos that ensues. It’ll at least be entertaining, although I expect like Brexit that people will realize immediately how stupid it is and try to back out of it.
I’ve been on several Amtrak rides and I’ve never been on one where we didn’t stop to have someone arrested. There is always some dangerous looking dude who is super drunk going up and down the whole train yelling at people until someone fights him and they get arrested. Literally every single ride (which has been…
Miyazaki said Anime was a mistake.
I honestly don’t have trouble with separating music from the artists. Because I like someone’s music doesn’t mean I think they are a great person or if someone is a bad person do I feel the need to hate their music. We live in a pop culture world though and pop culture is more about selling the person than the…
I used to kind of wonder why game players wear headphones while playing, well you can drown out the audience noise.
