I'm not really a Benz fan, despite liking the R. But I do agree with you. If the Germans can justify creating genres like 4-door coupes, "not a minivan" minivans like the R and whatever you call the 5-series GT, surely they can justify making a full on luxury minivan.

And they're alot of fun to shove into a Chevette, as HRM proved a few years ago.

I dunno, nobody lined up to buy the R-class and it was essentially a minivan without the sliding rear doors. They did a refresh to try to make it more SUV-looking and that one didn't sell well either.

I doubt the 2500 will get the small one, the Cummins is too successful in the heavier duty trucks. Unless they're aiming to dump Cummins completely, in which case screw those guys.
