People seem to have the mindset that the most important shopping day of the year is directly after Thanksgiving, and given how impatient people are, the sooner it starts, the better.

That's a TERRIBLE deal. Several stores have everything MINUS the "game of choice" for $199 right now, and several games (such as Arkham City) for 30 bucks. In fact, I bought all of that for $230 + tax last night. Why would I wait and spend almost a hundred dollars more?
I agree. I mean, when a dragon's talking to you it looks kind of shitty, but when they're flying around or attacking, I feel like they really exist in the world. Skyrim is more alive than any other game world I've explored.
Man, you can really see how much better GTA V is going to look by comparison. That makes me very happy.
Whew, I almost posted this myself. Glad I read the comments first.
There is very little incentive to buy at Gamestop anymore. Plenty of other places offer used games for the same prices (if not cheaper), and new games are still in their original wrapping. Occasionally they'll get a fancy pre-order bonus, but other places get them too, and you don't have to deal with any of their…
Isn't Heart of the Swarm a new one?
Who was it then? I never heard anything to the contrary. Neither has Wikipedia, apparently.
"In an interview with AOL" makes me LOL.
If you go back and look at it now, Red Faction 2 wasn't that bad. It's nowhere NEAR as good as the others (save for maybe Armageddon), but it's a solid game; it just doesn't "Wow" anyone.
Using that logic, you'd think Call of Duty games would cost only a few dollars.
I was about to post the exact same comment. Gabe and Tycho are pioneers of videogame webcomics, but I never could have fathomed that they'd be where they are now. I doubt they did either.
Maybe they unlock for purchase later? I KNOW they're purchasable. Either way, you'll get more of it.
You can buy them at the gun shop. I pretty much spent all of my money on them. Also, sometimes missions would give me like 400 and they'd last me a while.
I SAY FOUR HUNDRED MUH-MUH! I think I have the right answer!
Beat me to it. I honestly thought that was what the article was going to be about at first.
Ah, thanks. Strange that there was no mention of its absence in the article OR in the comments.
Wait, did I miss something? Where's Awkward Zombie?
Yeah, the APC part is fun. I'm also assuming you got the 'splodey shotgun? That thing is great. Also, BoGT has the BEST cheat codes for mayhem-fun.
While I can't give you any specifics, the first base jump mission is somewhere before the halfway point of BoGT, considerably so I think. After the mission, you can buy a parachute at the gun shop and jump wherever you damn well please.
