If it turns out well for the indies involved, good for them, but I am sure Nintendo would drop most of their support if they could make a console of theirs sell well on 1st party and big 3rd party publisher titles alone. Nintendo saying this about indies just rubs me the wrong way. It’s hard for me to believe they care about indie games because they believe in the idea of them. It’s much easier for me to think that they know they need more software and it ain’t coming from major studios.
