I legitimately had not heard about those Ghost Recon games. They’re not a huge step away from marines, but different enough to be appreciable.

You have won the internet today.

Man, it’s always marines vs. aliens. Just change it up a little bit. Hillbillies vs. Aliens? Agent 47 vs. Aliens? 12 year old children vs. Aliens? Admittedly, these are terrible examples that will never happen. But imagine if they did?

I enjoy watching a reality tv train wreck as much as the next person. But there’s a sense of self-importance in these Bachelor shows that I can’t get behind. Lot of participants like to treat themselves as the victim and that their shit doesn’t stink. Maybe that’s part of the appeal for some folks.

That’s like twice as much of an explanation than support had. I remember going through every HDMI cable I had at the time trying to see if any of them would work. None did. I even remember thinking how odd it was that the cable that came with the xbox wasn’t capable of supporting a service on said xbox.

Well, his character was plot-crucial in both films. I don’t see how they could conceivably write him out of the existing script without retroactively devastating the world building they’ve already developed.

Wait, Alec Baldwin goes to Pizza Hut? Like a normie? That can’t be right.

Was gonna make a snarky remark about how he tried to cancel the election results, but when I looked for something to use to demonstrate that, it’d led directly into your statement.

Loosely related, but I remember renting a movie on my xbox one, only to be told that it couldn’t be played because of some kind of incompatibility with my HDMI cable. Talked to support. They couldn’t explain to me what kind of HDMI I actually needed to make it work and also told me that I would not receive a refund.

Like if it was some kind of short-form documentary, I would’ve immediately understood. It’s been pretty well explained to me how it works at this point, but like you said, an 8 episode mini-series just feels a bit icky.

Well there's talking about a person and then making a mini series about them.

I don’t know that having a stroke is equivalent to what most would call being a “vegetable”. He still had his mental facilities. But he certainly wasn’t not up for the physical demands of the job.

Okay, that clears up a lot. Thanks for taking the time to type it up for me.

Wait, people can just make and sell media about a specific person without compensating or even getting approval from that person? I’m gonna need someone smarter than me to explain how that works.

Just to note, there are plenty of decent Taylor Swift jokes out there that aren’t at her expense.

I’m not one of those tough guys that refuses to cry. I have a tough time with grief. Both my own and seeing it in others. So it was tough watching that video of Taylor accepting the award on her husband’s behalf. Glad I did though.

Yeah, I found out about all the deaths that have happened at these events after some googling about it after posting about this. Whatever happened to just finding out the sex at the ultrasound?

Had to do some googling, but you may be right. There are no health requirements for holding Presidential office. As long as he’s not a vegetable, he could get back in there.

Dude has McDonald’s for blood. Even if he isn’t dead by then, I can’t imagine his health being up to snuff enough for political office. I’m expecting at least a stroke by then.

It’s not a huge problem really. Awards and such are just fine, like I said. I just don’t see the need for the extravagance and show. Lot of industries have multiple awards ceremonies that don’t make a huge production about it. I recognize the difference in that acting is a very public industry. But does every aspect
