I hate that they don’t have real ones out and about like Rivian does. Does all new EVs need gobs off power though? I would be fine with a Canoo lite with 300hp, more range, and lower starting msrp. 

And don’t forget the fact that their power grid doesn’t actually connect to the other states, meaning that they can’t pull in power as needed.

Yes and no. There are basically four main charger plugs used in the US today.

J1772 is the standard L1 and L2 charger plug, which pretty much everything has onboard.

CHAdeMO is largely being phased out, but was used for much of the Leaf’s production.

CCS is pretty much standard across the board these days for DC fast.…
