This car has like 30 miles of practical range. I’m not getting outside of the city in this thing.

I’ll eventually be upgrading to the later car’s LED lamps, and they’ll be very bright. I’ve used yellow vinyl before on a few cars and it’s never really hurt visibility appreciably.

FRONT PLATE STATES ARE INFRINGING ON MY FREEDOMS HERE IN NEVADA!

But if we funded stuff like that who would buy the billionaire sports team owners their new stadiums?

That military part is more GOP though, fuck big military spending IMO.

I just want you to know that Denmark has transparent finances for all aspects of their government, and what you’re saying is factually incorrect.

Well if you actually tax your corporations, you can do things in the public interest. Why do only immigrants from shithole countries want to come to the US? Cuz the rest of the (white) world has a higher standard of living.

Did we fail reading comprehension?

Or... they have a relatively wealthy government that actually has an interest in helping the population and improving their quality of life. I suppose that does feel like a foreign concept these days...

As someone who grew up in Texas and has also lived in Southern California, I find it hilarious that people from California think the Texas weather is similar to what they’re used to. I wish I could be there when he realizes just how miserable Austin is from April to October.

Of course we are going to learn the certain essential employees are more valuable than others. I’m sure grocery workers won’t be included in the vaccine essential.

I did. It was a 95 F150 XL with the 300 straight six, a five speed stick, and 160,000 miles on the clock when I first started out in the oilfield.

Typical Toyota. My last 4runner i ran out to about 250k. Literally just gas tires oil and brakes plus two timing belts and one spark plug change. And at about 200k the power antenna stopped. But it even had the same original u joints.

Local Old Volvo Enthusiast here checking in, wondering why 150k is considered “high mileage.”

Once I hit a place in life where other things took priority, my daily driver went from something I could easily fix in a carport, to something under warranty that I could drop off at the dealer and get a loaner until they sorted it out.

Because I can find a lot better 4WD trucks I’d rather drive for that kind of money

Never mind that the morons that post stuff like this are the same people fighting to keep coal burning plants going. Failing on a massive scale, but still trying.

Not really worth responding to, but EVs can still be cleaner than gasoline vehicles, even when powered by coal. Internal combustion engines are very inefficient, while power plants are actually fairly efficient. EVs are also very efficient at converting electricity into motion. So, the combined efficiency of a gas

As a former Coast Guard Officer who cherishes his OCS challenge coin these make feel dirty.

And yes, why buy cars for an edge case, when you can rent a car for a long road trip if you need one.”

Well really we need more of both but we especially need to stop regarding EVs with 50 miles as useless garbage that no one could possibly want.
